NBC has greenlighted Wonderland, a drama pilot set in the world of Lewis Carroll’s Alice In Wonderland that is executive produced by CSI creator Anthony Zuiker. The project, written by feature scribe Whit Anderson, stems from Zuiker’s overall deal with ABC Studios, which has him partnering with studio-based Brillstein Entertainment Partners on development. Wonderland is set years after the events in the book and centers on Alice and a new character, Clara.

As much as I'd like NBC to find a good companion show for Grimm, I don't think this is gonna cut it. CSI creator + genre show = hot, unwatchable mess.
ReplyDeleteDont know about this one, I hope it works out simply so it can go in at 8pm Friday ahead of Grimm. It would be a really cool Genre back to back from NBC.
ReplyDeleteOh, NBC, at least you're trying and I appreciate it but no, just no.
ReplyDeleteMore info on the set-up:
ReplyDeleteAlice and Wonderland is "set in modern times and centers on Alice and a new character, Clara. Seven years ago, Clara’s life took an unexplained turn for the worse, and a mysterious stranger tells her there may be an explanation after all… an explanation that lies in the fantastical world of Wonderland. To revive her dreams and get her life back on track, Clara must wage war against Wonderland’s reigning Queen, the woman we once knew as Alice."
Not that you can judge a genre concept based on so little details but I think it sounds potentially effing FANTASTIC, and I think I'd like it more than Grimm. It sounds like it could be pretty dark, and Alice as Evil Queen of Wonderland?!
ReplyDeleteIf this looks better than OUAT I really hope NBC picks it up.
Could work... plus it sounds like a good companion for Grimm.
ReplyDeleteGet your shit together NBC.

It could be fun, but really NBC should stop messing with the scheduling. I want my Grimm and Revolution back now hnngg. :(
ReplyDeleteThis sounds very interesting to me! I hope it's get pick up ;-)
ReplyDeleteNot at all sure about this, but then again I thought Once Upon a Time would be an epic fail and I was wrong about that.
ReplyDeleteDon't know But then again i thought i was not going to like Grimm and I like it a lot now, so it is hard to judge a genre show with so little information.
