Morgan beat Sherlock's Benedict Cumberbatch, Doctor Who's Matt Smith and Daniel Mays, who played Ronnie Biggs in ITV's Mrs Biggs.

"I'd just like to thank everyone who voted for me," said Morgan, "I just want to thank you for your support."

    It's a shame there can only ever be one winner because they all deserve high praise for their performances last year imo.


    I'm loving the knights banter and pics on twitter this evening, the Merlin family are just the best and it's making me realise how much I am going to miss the show :(
