1) This MIGHT not be the end of Robin Sparkles
Even though Monday’s episode, which finds Barney uncovering an unseen Robin Sparkles video — has been highly touted as the final installment of Robin Sparkles, Thomas says, the writers don’t rule out the possibility of bringing her back again should a fantastic idea come to mind. However, he adds, “we’re pretty happy with this as a potential final chapter of Robin Sparkles. I think people will see how this bridges the gap between the Robin we’ve seen before and what came next and what was the end of Robin Sparkles’ career. So if it’s the end, it feels like a fitting ending” One idea that Thomas might pitch? “In the back of my head somewhere I’m thinking how do [we] not get Robin up at her own wedding to perform some medley of Robin Sparkles songs?…But who the hell knows.”

I love Robin Sparkles and I hope they'll bring her back next season as well!
ReplyDelete"4) Ted isn’t entirely over Robin."
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm tired of this show. It keeps going around circles.
I agree. The whole Ted and Robin thing is kinda irritating now. They should move on from that.
ReplyDeleteTed needs to get over Robin to be who he needs to be to meet the mother. Robin is the hardest for him to let go. He's a man who lives in the past, unable to move forward, hence the inability to be completely over her. This is a necessary point to push the momentum ahead to his character's development. And for that, it's an excellent device they've utilized. You're too close to the puzzle to see the picture that's forming ;).
ReplyDeleteI totally get your point. The only problem I see is that this "getting
ReplyDeleteover Robin" issue has already had many resolutions in the past, and a MAJOR
one occured during Barney's plan which wasn't so long ago.
A lot of people tend to say "I'm over her/him" and remain ignorant to the fact that they're really not. I, like I'm sure many others are, have been guilty of it in the past; which is why I identify with Ted so much.
