That's just sad.
ReplyDeleteI am so upset about this, it was by far the best new comedy of the fall and I was happy when Fox gave it more episodes a while back. To see it cancelled mid production is really sad.
ReplyDeleteDo you think we'll ever see the remaining shot episodes?
ReplyDelete:O(
ReplyDeleteYa it really was a must watch every week. But because it wasn't the soulless mindless stuff like the big bang theory and two and half men that are just rinse and repeat every week, which i guess is what the majority of america likes it suffers.
ReplyDeleteThis cancellation was helped by the fact that New Girl has dropped considerably this season. So because Ben and Kate had a low rating (but to be fair look at all the new comedies this year, they all range in the 1.2-1.5 area, Go On is now down to 1.3) FOX decides that it must be because of the Ben and Kate and because they are now in danger of losing 10 of thousands of dollars on New Girls ad rate they need to do something to get New Girl's ratings back up.
But the thing is Glee was New Girl's lead in last year, then there is also added factor of people who stopped watching. But ultimately FOX is saying it is Ben and Kate's fault and not the fact that they gave Ben and Kate, Raising Hope as it lead in. Whereas the mindy project got New Girl. If Ben and Kate and the mindy project would have given each other timeslot's to begin, it's the mindy project that is getting cancelled.
Tv by the numbers has this show "certainly cancelled" for like two months already! Whether now or May it was always going to be cancelled. Mindy Project may as well join the cancellation line also!
ReplyDeleteFinally?!
