This is old news. CW told last year it was only a telephone-call, not a project in development.

ReplyDeleteNo surprise here. If they are tuning Selection to be more like the Hunger Games, then it would make no sense to be looking at this one too.
ReplyDeletethank you, i don't want them to fucking ruin a perfectly good manga series with another adaptation, the japanese movie was fine enough to get a broader group of people in to the story and premise. but for me the original manga was pure win. as it finished the story much better.

ReplyDeleteThe book was released 1999, the Movie was released in 2000, the same year as the manga STARTED. But I agree though, I think that the concept wouldbe cool as a TV-series, but it would work better if it was a completely original idea with similar premise, instead of adapting Battle Royale
