ABC has given pilot orders to dramas from House creator David Shore, Modern Family star Sofia Vergara and Awake's Kyle Killen.
In Doubt, a former cop who's now a cunning, but charming low-rent lawyer uses his street smarts to work the system for his clients while battling his own demons and wooing his ex-wife. Shore will write and executive-produce the project, his first since House went off the air in May, 2012.
Killer Women, an adaptation of the Argentine series Mujeres Asesinas, follows the only woman in the Texas Rangers, a ballsy, beautiful badass who knows how to get to the truth and isn't afraid to ruffle a few feathers on her way there. Hannah Shakespeare will write, while Vergara and Martin Campbell will executive-produce.
Influence is a provocative workplace ensemble centered on the complicated relationship between two brothers who head a unique agency designed to attack their clients' problems using the real science of human motivation and manipulation. Killen will write and executive-produce.

Wow ABC really must have a bad crop of potential shows this year.....
ReplyDeleteThe Killen project sounds the most interesting, but like all of his recent projects, that just means it will be cancelled early.
All sound uninspired and boring. Well, better than reality tv, but still.
ReplyDeleteMujeres Asesinas, nunca lo vĂ. Pero funcionaba.
ReplyDeleteI think these are excellent news to ABC's bubble shows, they look terrible.
ReplyDeleteOh dear lord, more crap on the way.
ReplyDeleteNone of them seem terribly interesting or even original. With the volume of choice out there the networks really need to pick their game up a bit IMO.
ReplyDeleteI probably wouldn't tune in to any of these.
ReplyDeletepoo and still no mistresses
ReplyDeleteNot very interested in Killer Women or Influence, but In Doubt has my attention for the simple fact that it has David Shore behind it.
ReplyDeleteall 3 bad wont make it
ReplyDeletegotta say some about first one/
In Doubt, this part...wooing his ex-wife??? we have seen this concept before but again wtf something went wrong and so u divorce, but now ur backing to wanting her, maybe you should have worked harder to not break up in the first place with same wooing methods he is gonna use now...
besides that da fuck cop to a lawyer isn't it usually other way around like blue bloods.
