    That sounds like they will be getting a short, midseason final season like Gossip Girl did. That also makes things harder for other bubble shows, especially if Carrie Diaries or Cult become even modest hits.

    If 90210 is renewed, and my guess is that it will be, it will most likely be announced as the final season. The ratings are too low for it not to be, with a 0.4-0.6 demo each episode. The CW desperately needs 2-3 hits bigger than Vampire Diaries (1.3) to continue to exist and 90210's ratings won't get them there. The question will come in how many episodes it will have in its final season.

    They should cancel it, while it is entertaining, it is not really well done and they should prevent it from becoming like GG, in other words, stop before the fan base starts asking for a cancellation.

    Emily Owens is already cancelled and rightly so, its ratings were appalling especially for a show in its first season.
    I applaud the CW for at least trying something new (for them), but it just was very well received.

    they could do that if they give the writers enough time they could have it end this season or air a 2 hour series finale in the Fall. I guess it also depends on cost and cast, they have to weigh up whether its worth actually doing a shortened final season.

    I love 90210. It's a great plot, but Naomi carries the show... still, there are so many un-answered questions... like Silver's baby, how Aniie copes with Riley's death, Dixon's "loan" and relationship, Adrianna has her own problems... It's a very complicated tv show, but if they cancel it, it'd suck. After 104 episodes, you want to get what you waited for, right?

    And rating's you say...? They need a publicity boost. Get an actor in charity work, the news, a magazine, an articale or something to start. A song? A model from the show? Also, plenty of commercails and a bunch of suspence to make the grand opening worth while!

    Keep 90210 and change the writers. There are so many things that can be done with the storylines and they keep cutting off stories like the characters have no feelings and don't cope with anything!
    Add more emotion and realsim and the future seasons will do great!!!

    I think when 90210 started this new series they should have looked towards shows like Degrassi. While we love the old characters, they could have woven in new characters and kept the main story based in high school at West Bev. This would have given the show much more flexibility with cast and plot options. We could still follow the alumnus when appropriate, but have the fun new batch of kids with each new class. Most of the high school based shows like 90210 (this one and the original) and even comedies like Saved by the Bell can only go so far past senior year before they lose their flare.Don't get me wrong, I like the show and the cast, but I think they missed a big opportunity by simply letting the cast age up and moving outside of the high school setting completely.

    i love this show, please continue it, even if just one seaon, season 5 ending leaving you with so many questions. so for at least 1 more season to answers as many questions. and i am all for it being continued even longer than that

    I will really appreciate CW if the best serial(90210) doesn't finish and that is why I really love this serial and maybe I'll be depressed so I wish CW would think and decide about this serial again and I am pretty sure that other people don't want their serial to finish as well.Please think about this again.thanks
