    I think that there are pleny of shows that were amazing in the first place but remakes would destroy them completely.

    It would depend on who's making it. I haven't watched the original yet. :P I've had it on my laptop for ages, don't have to time to get to it :( I wouldn't watch a remake without watching the original.

    Interesting... Still one of my all-time favourite series, up there with also-cancelled-tragically-early Firefly, and hope-we-get-to-keep-it-a-little-while-longer Community. I can't see Lynch and Frost ever coming together again, and no one else has the business to touch it. So, a resounding no to any reboot. I do wish it hadn't ended the way it did (Audrey was my personal favourite), but I don't believe you get redo's in art or life...
    Strangely, the 7 previous comments were also all against it, but the polls shows 25% (12 vs 36) are actually for it.... How 'bout you speak up as to why?

    The series was great while on,if they made a movie fine as along as the original cast is involved,but no reboot. A little tired of all the rebooted shows and movies,what happened is no one creative and innovated anymore?

    remakes tend to ruin my memories of the originals so i would have to say no, this one is not worth touching.
