The Mindy Project - Season 1 - Casting News - BJ Novak to guest star

Vulture has learned that Novak has booked a two-episode guest arc on Kaling's first year Fox comedy The Mindy Project. And yes, sparks of the romantic variety shall fly.

According to a source, Novak will play Jamie, a potential love interest and "a charming Latin professor who bonds with Mindy over their love of a dead language." Not much more is known about the plot, though we can report that Novak's Jamie will have a friend named Lucy, who will be played by Susan Sarandon's daughter Eva Amurri (Californication).

    Awesome! Mindy and BJ were my favorite cast members of The Office.
