Dang...what does Castle have to do to get some love :-(
ReplyDeleteI'm missing some shows on there that are better than Homeland!
ReplyDeleteCommunity should be higher than 17!
ReplyDeleteNashville and Bunheads are on the list but Revenge isn't?? absurd
ReplyDeleteOh, don't hold your breath, it won't get critic love, no matter what. Doesn't mean anything though, it is one of the biggest fandoms out there.
ReplyDeleteNo Dexter?
ReplyDeleteCan disagree a lot with the list but can definitely agree on Breaking Bad being number one, others came close but it stepped up another level (yet again).
ReplyDeleteYay glad Bunheads is on here, it's a really enjoyable show even if it doesn't have the same thrilling plot twists of other shows. I used to watch New Girl but it got annoying... Breaking Bad isn't really my type of show but I know people really enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteSame with Bones, especially seasons 1-5. It used to make me so mad.
ReplyDeleteBreaking Bad definitely deserves to be there again.
ReplyDeleteCritics are so predictable and unexciting.
ReplyDeleteI'll probably be the only one to say this, but I really really really REALLY hate Girls. It's overrated and so it's Lena Dunham. There, I said it. But I'm so happy that Sherlock, Parks&Rec, TWD and Louie are in the top 10.
ReplyDeleteGirls is un-watchable to me as well.
ReplyDeleteI have tried to watch it three times and each time I have literally been irritated and angry when I turned it off. Just utter tripe.
Castle is very similar to many shows that get no love but that doesn't mean they aren't darn good. Fans love them, Critics are just that a few critical folks Who have the podium. Something has kept CSI, Simpsons, Castle and many others on the air for a long time and you can bet its not Critics.
ReplyDeleteI may shift the order around quite a bit and remove 2 or 3 series...
ReplyDelete*cough*cough* Girls *cough* New Girl *cough*cough* Nashville *cough*cough*
but I think most of the listed shows deserve their spots and Breaking Bad is definitely deserving of the top spot!
I think the mistake lies in the fact that the first two made the list at all, not that Revenge was left off. XD
ReplyDeleteThis list was actually pretty good
ReplyDeleteLoved how Happy Endings surpassed New Girl and Big Bang Theory but those shows get better rating like happy endings is sooo funny and should get more viewers
Also loved how high up in the list parks and rec is like finally it gets the attention it deserves
love from the critics ???? it is easy, $ ;) 44 critics vs 10 mill. viewers. which do you prefer?
ReplyDeleteSame here! I really don't understand where all this praise comes from. The characters are vapid, even their voices are flat and emotionless; their lives and situations aren't relatable at all (I'm a woman but I'm thirty and I'm not american, so maybe that's just me, who knows) and what Lena Dunham (and apparently most of her colleagues and critics) thinks is a witty and satirical outlook on "young adults" it's in fact just a bunch of whining, privileged, stereotyped and self-absorbed little girls who have nothing to do with real life.
ReplyDeleteAnd what drives me mad is the thought of Lena Dunham really seeing herself as "the voice of her generation". If that's true, I'm glad I'm not part of it.
So Typical! No mention of Castle! Just because it can not be placed in any category it is overlooked!
ReplyDeleteALL HAIL THE KING. Only Fringe is missing here. ;)
ReplyDeleteHow does Fringe not make the list? Is to much for Critics to handle as well?
ReplyDeleteCommunity should be higher as well
I'm intrigued!!! What you mean Person Of Interest isn't there??? No, seriously!!! What was that about???
ReplyDeleteI get why people watch it and think its good, but it is unwatchable for me as well. I just can't care about them, total disconnect. The characters are just so self centered.
ReplyDeleteBreaking Bad is definitely the best show probably ever created. Brilliantly written by Vince Gilligan and an outstanding cast such as Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. I am only 15 years old but I have watched heaps of shows and I can proudly say Breaking Bad has met all of my expectations. The Walking Dead is also another show I have become quite interested in as well, but I don't think any show can beat Breaking Bad.
ReplyDeleteWith 32 slots to fill, I definitely agree that Breaking Bad should be on the list. I think the number 1 slot is at least a few slots higher than it deserves though. Great show, but the fact that it has all but discarded every aspect of its thematic depth that it used to have should preclude it from being number 1.
ReplyDeleteThe only way I can figure it is that the critics must think that it's a standard procedural CBS cop show, and therefore they don't watch it. Because otherwise there are way too many slots available for that show to not be on there somewhere.
ReplyDeleteBreaking Bad is flawless
ReplyDeleteGlad community made the list. Wish fringe was there too
