Speaking of hiatus, we will begin our annual hiatus polls either next week or the week after. We will start with favorite songs and then go to favorite song to scene. We'll also be starting our ranking list articles in January. So if you haven't firmed up how you rank the first 150 episodes, get to it. The idea is to showcase 10 episodes each day in January up to the midseason premiere. So basically it will be a full hiatus - just the way I like it - and hopefully time will pass quickly. Until next week, enjoy your hiatus. Don't forget to nominate your favorite quotes from this episode first though.
Funny/Snarky quotes:
6. Desmond: "Benny never told me he was bringing a friend." Dean: "You're not going to talk a lot are ya? I have been dealing with crazy all day."5. Dean: "You put Mostly Okay Martin on Benny. What is Mostly Okay doing hunting at all?"
4. Dean: "So what's the plan? I hang back while you guys do some trust falls and binge drinking." Benny: "Man if I didn't know you better, I'd say you have an extremely low opinion of us vamps." Dean: "Call it healthy skepticism."
3. Dean: "Son of a….It took you long enough." Benny: "You've lost a step friend. You need to lay off the junk food."
2. Benny: "I know it's hard to believe but I haven't always been this cute and cuddly."
1. Dean: "Martin, you sure you're running on a full charge?" Martin: "Huhh. Yeah, yeah. A…a little…..little shock therapy in the morning and I…I…I'm good to go."
Mytharc/Story-moving quotes:
10. Benny: " No amateur is going to kick me out of my hometown Dean. Not this time."
9. Benny: "It's okay Lizzie. He ain't gonna hurt you. Ain't that right? Come on now. I've got no beef with you. You've got no beef with me." Martin: "I've got plenty of beef with your kind." Benny: "Alright that may be so but not for anything that happened here. I did not kill those people." Martin: "I heard. You and Dean had a little Purgatory reunion. Touching."
8. Dean: "Look until we get the facts, we stow the bloodlust and we work this case right or we work it separately." Martin: "Well doing it right would be separating his head from his shoulders."
7. Dean: "I've got a body here in Carencrou with 2 holes in it and I just found out you went fishing. Do I need to tell you what this looks like?"
6. Sam: "Listen Dean, we came here on a dead body. You asked for some time and now there's another dead body. Sam: "Are we just going on trust here?" Dean: "Yes."
5. Benny: "Dean, this is my fight. Are you in or are you out?"
4. Benny: "No offense Dean but your little brother does not exactly put chills up my spine." Dean: "Benny listen to me. Do not underestimate my little brother okay. He can and will kill you given the chance."
3. Dean: "You know there's only one way to do that right? And that is for you to sit on the sideline while I convince Sam and Martin to go after Desmond. They see you out there, they don't care if you're going to be collecting for the March of Dimes. They are going to slice first and ask questions later. You know that." Benny: "You really think they'll go for that?"
2. Dean: "All I'm saying is that Benny is innocent." Sam: "No. You're too close to this." Dean: "You're not going to find him and if you do, I'm going to tell you this. You'll be lucky to get out alive and you….you go with him, you're a dead man. Period."
1. Dean: "Handle on things? Benny, you've got 2 stiffs on your hands and two hunters on your a**." Benny: "Oh please. Your halfwit found me at the café. I'll take my chances with him…." Dean: "That halfwit was sent by my brother and trust me, my brother is not someone you want to mess with."
Emotional quotes:
10. Benny: "My life here is over isn't it?"
9. Benny: "You got me here now. Why don’t you just let her go and walk away?" Martin: "I don't think so." Benny: "You realize I'm not asking."
8. Benny: "Born and bred. With Andrea gone and you hunting again, it seemed the right time for a homecoming. You two being the only ones who keep all my ducks in a row. Went back to my old job at the café. Even found myself someone to hold myself accountable to. Best kind of someone Dean. Family." Dean: "Elizabeth." Benny: "My great-granddaughter."
7. Don: "Sam, let me finish. I know part of her loves me and now part of her loves you, but the only one that knows what's best for Amelia is Amelia so when all of this is said and done and she's made her decision, I'll respect it. And if you truly love her, you'd do the same."
6. Dean: "Nobody's arguing but if this is Benny, and that's a big if…" Martin: "Oh it's him." Dean: "I've got history with the guy okay. I'm not signing up for a witch hunt. I owe him more than that."
5. Benny: "Please. I'm asking you. Do not do this. The bad guy is gone, okay?"
4. Martin: "And what if it turns out to be Benny?" Dean: "Then it's Benny and I'll deal with it."
3. Benny: " It's been tough walking the line here after all those years in Purgatory not having to deal with the hunger. But Elizabeth, she keeps me honest. I finally feel like I've got a handle on this thing."
2. Dean: "Time to go buddy." Benny: "Thanks for not giving up on me brother." Dean: "Don't give me a reason to."
1. Sam: "These are innocent lives we're talking about Dean and you're willing to risk that on Benny's word alone." Dean: "Damn right I am."
Oh Kill Me Now quotes (Worst Lines of the Night):
5. Sam: "He's your husband Amelia. But I…I don't…I don't want to do the right thing. I mean this is the right thing, you and me. And maybe I'm going to hell for saying this but I'm not ready to give this up."
4. Sam: "So? Is it done?" Dean: "Yeah it's done." Sam: "Any casualties?" Dean: "Martin." Sam: "Was it Benny?" Dean: "He had it coming Sam. I'll tell you what happened?" Sam: "I…I know what happened Dean." Dean: "Okay you want to listen to me or not?" (Sam hangs up.) Dean: "Damn it."
3. Sam: "I know that you and Don deserve a chance okay and I think you know that too. Just give him a chance like you gave me. I mean Amelia you saved me."
2. Dean: "Guys like us, we don't get a home. You know we don't get family."
1. Sam: "Okay because we've killed for a lot less and you know how these things turn out for us." Dean: "Yes I do. Too well. In fact every relationship I've ever had has gone to cr** at some point, but the one thing I can say about Benny, he has never let me down." Sam: "Well good on you Dean. It must feel great finally finding someone you can trust after all these years."
Special Quote Awards:
Eye-Rollingly Bad dialogue:Martin: "Lay down your arms you unholy thing."
Martin: "Isn't it obvious? I want your head on a stake."
-Is this a bad black and white Dracula movie? The only person who could have pulled off this dialogue was Shapeshifter Dracula from Monster Movie. Then I would have laughed as I rolled my eyes.
Say What? quotes:
1. Sam: "Oh really Dean, you don't believe that because Benny's a vampire and any hunter worth his salt isn't going to let one just walk around freely. So I had Martin keep tabs on him and right now it's looking like I made the right call."
-Since when? You guys have let a lot of "monsters" go in the past without keeping tabs on them. Lenore and Eli (who looks a lot like Benny) were only the first ones.
2. Benny: "Victim #2. If you're concerned about the missed calls, I didn't want to get you involved. Now, want to safety that thing….talk a little bit or what?"
-Seriously Benny, do you even know Dean? It's not like he would leave because you were avoiding him.
Finally the Mature Brothers Jeremy Carver Spoke of (for about 5 minutes):
1. Dean: "So Martin's saying Benny did this." Sam: "Yeah." Dean: "Okay." Sam: "Okay?" Dean: "If Benny's in Louisiana draining folks, we should look into it."
2. Dean: "I just need some time Sammy." Martin: "Oh yeah, let the fang take another life? I don't think so." Sam: "How much time do you need?" Martin: "You're not actually considering this?" Dean: "A couple hours tops."
-I shouted Hallelujah the first time I saw the opening brother scene. Both of them were logical. Dean listened to what Sam said. They went to check it out together instead of behind the other's back. Woo hoo! Then Sam listened to Dean and gave him time to get the facts instead of just reacting. Again, woo hoo! Too bad they reverted back to form not 10 minutes later.
Worst Excuse for a Cliffhanger:Amelia: "I knew that was you."
The Crazy Man Sums Up Season 8:
Martin: "Winchesters! Man!"
-I hear you Martin. I've been saying this every time the writers make another asinine character choice.
Review:
Currently Citizen Fang ranks as the second best episode of season 8 for me, but given how this season is going that is not saying much. After such promising opening brother scenes, the characterizations became a complete mess with each brother coming off as stupid or douchey several times in the episode. After that ending, I almost wish Cas would NOT bring the brothers back together next episode. Thanks Loflin. Until further notice, I am concluding that you are the one who hates Dean and Sam while Dabb is the anvil dropper. Still, if I separate the bad brother writing out there is a lot to like about this episode. Good action tops the list and the directing really worked for me. The new director tried a variety of unique shots which gave the episode a distinctive feel. I also enjoyed the pacing. The tension remained throughout which kept me laser-focused on the plot, something that used to be a given and now is not. In short, the episode was entertaining if not awesome.
Normally I carp about secondary characters taking attention away from Dean and Sam but in this case they saved the episode for me. Martin was so repugnant to me that I was rooting for his death from almost the opening scene. Benny was the sympathetic heart and I have to say I've felt more for him this season than anyone else, including Dean and Sam. That in itself is a heartbreaker. Pretty sad when a vampire's travails is the family-centered storyline instead of the brothers. I thought the actress who played Elizabeth was as excellent here as she was as Katie the Changeling's mom in The Kids are Alright. The scene with Benny, Martin, and Elizabeth was terrific. In fact, most scenes where the brothers were separated were pretty good. I even found myself liking Don, who out of everyone we've met in the Amelia subplot is the most sympathetic. Now if only I could say the same thing about Dean and Sam.

If you have poll ideas you would like us to do, please put them here in the comments. I keep a running list of your suggestions so if we end a contest early I can pull them out. Looking forward to the song contests because hey, no brother wars there.
ReplyDeletehey dahne:)) i wonder how long have you been puting comments on spoilerv for i see that you have alltogether 11923 comments and that is alot of comments:)) so how long have you been commenting ?
ReplyDeleteI have been on SpoilerTV for about 3.5 years now. I started during the hiatus between season 5 and 6 when Adam did his first Best Show contest. I used to comment all the time and was the number one commentator on the site - meaning I never shut up. :-P With my change in jobs 1.5 years ago I haven't had as much time to comment these days. It's still my favorite site to discuss TV though.
ReplyDeletecan i ask what is your job that you earn your living money on?:))
ReplyDeleteDean: "Nobody's arguing but if this is Benny, and that's a big if…" Martin: "Oh it's him." Dean: "I've got history with the guy okay. I'm not signing up for a witch hunt. I owe him more than that."
ReplyDeleteDean: "So Martin's saying Benny did this." Sam: "Yeah." Dean: "Okay." Sam: "Okay?" Dean: "If Benny's in Louisiana draining folks, we should look into it."
I loved this episode and I am loving the season. First off, I just don't think it's Sam and I think the angels are doing some things. Just my opinion, but I'll be honest. I do get tired of hearing nothing but negativity. It's been that way since day one and the show's still here. I don't aim to rock the boat and lose the only thing on television I enjoy watching.
I'm a teacher.
ReplyDeleteI am good with however they plan to retcon Sam as long as I get the real Sam back.
ReplyDelete"...maybe I'm going to hell for saying this" I cringed at this line. To have Sam of all peopke say that line proved to me that the writer doesn't give a flying hoot for continuity. I think he really didn't remember Sam was in hell for 100 years when he wrote that cliche.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I brought that up in the podcast. My first reaction was "what the heck Loflin." It was such a glaring comment.
ReplyDeleteDahne-- can I just say that I love your review and agree with you 100%. I have stopped watching SPN (but not reading/knowing what happens) because of my tendency to cry and scream at the screen and basically have a nervous breakdown after watching the episode. So not good for my health :(
ReplyDeleteI really do wonder what they have in store for the brothers since I have my doubts and practically half way through the season it is not looking good.
This has been my favorite ep of the season, the first I can really call a white knuckler for me. Did a happy dance when Martin ended up dead, they sure did a 180 with his character. OK my 2 picks aren't going to be favorites with anyone else I bed. lol
ReplyDelete1. Dean: "Son of a….It took you long enough." Benny: "You've lost a step friend. You need to lay off the junk food."
2. Sam: "Okay because we've killed for a lot less and you know how these
things turn out for us." Dean: "Yes I do. Too well. In fact every
relationship I've ever had has gone to cr** at some point, but the one
thing I can say about Benny, he has never let me down." Sam: "Well
good on you Dean. It must feel great finally finding someone you can
trust after all these years."
Had to go with this one, because this season Sam is just off. Not looking for Dean was the first clue. Ending with letting Martin cold cock him and leaving him bloody and handcuffed to a heater, then leaving Martin stranded in the woods with a killer vampire.
This is my favorite site also, was so glad I found it and dropped the other 2 I used to go on like a hot rock. lol
ReplyDeleteI am wondering what exactly Sam's plan was with letting that one slide with Martin - Dean eventually coming to understand Sam putting Benny being is one thing but to deliberately physically restraining him to prevent him getting in the way kind of goes beyond trust issues and lying to one another.
ReplyDeleteHow about a poll on the Top Five OOC scenes for both Sam and Dean. We would have ample to chose from in this season alone.
ReplyDeleteI think Dean knows something is wrong with Sam, just like he did when he was soulless. I don't want to be wrong about this, because I am not liking this Sam to much and I want to get back the Sam I can trust.
ReplyDeleteBwah! You are so, so right on that. Thanks! I'll add it to the list.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is - MASSIVE RETCON! That's what they need to do to fix this. Oh and fire the writers' room. Start fresh with a whole new crew (after all they can't do any worse than this bunch) after making the new writers actually watch ALL SPN episodes, not just a 3 sentence character crib sheet.
ReplyDeleteThis episode ranks pretty high for me too because there was tension throughout and not just tired tension between the brothers. I thought it was the most intense episode so far and it did a lot of things right - just not with the Winchesters. By the way, the first quote is Lilith's favorite of the night and pretty high on my list too. We definitely need to get the snark back.
ReplyDeleteYes-- massive retcon is desperately needed (I would argue that there has been a subconscious retcon going on for the past few season) one that is conscious and deliberate. They should throw the show bible of storylines away and start anew.
ReplyDeleteAgreed on firing the writers' room and YES on making the new writers actually watch the episodes over just reading the 3 sentence character crib sheet. I know that they have a continuity person on SET but they desperately need someone like that to be on the writing staff for the continuity in terms of the brothers. I think then we would see some real character growth that actually REMAINS and develops and doesn't just change from episode to episode.
I dont think Dean knows anything he isnt aware Sam is concerned , you talk about Sam you can trust like he is the only one to look at.The arranged text by Dean by far more cold and thoughtless than Dean being restrained to a radiator and damaging. Dean has lied about Benny from day 1 , he has thrown in Sam's face how Benny is better even in this episode he couldnt help himself . Sam is not the only problem here . Sam not looking is not a justification for Dean and how far Dean is going .
ReplyDelete*shakes head* The writers don't really care for character development/storyline continuity. They do what they want
ReplyDeleteHave to disagree, I am very happy with the writers, I love trying to figure out what they have planned with both brothers and am sure it will all work out, but the fun is in how is works out. I really dislike shows that are predictable and when they get that way I stop watching and so far Supernatural is winning this not predictable war. lol
ReplyDeleteI don't think that Dean thinks there is anything wrong with Sam other than they are presently at the point where they can't trust each other completely. As for last episode, yes the text was a dick move but locking Dean up before going to deal with Benny when Dean has been knocked out and is actually bleeding from a head wound. That is cold and I can't blame Dean for pulling the text message plan out of his backside after that one.
ReplyDeleteNo we aren't talking about Sam like he is the only one we have to look at. Just Sam is acting very differently from the character we have come to know and the last episode he pushed it - he wasn't hunting in the manner he championed ;we hunt evil not monsters'. He was hunting out of passive aggressive pissiness because he is pissed at Dean and he took it out on someone else who as you pointed out he doesn't know
ReplyDeleteIf he is pissed at Dean for trusting Benny more then do something about being pissed at Dean, not simply try to show Dean that Benny is a wrong one to big himself up if he isn't going to follow through on his threat about walking if Dean doesn't drop his crap. Now Benny might be he might not turn into a wrong one, especially now. But that doesn't mean Sam gets a pass not to work the case properly or he doesn't get pretend that Dean is the only one not being objective in the room. Which you have to admit he wasn't because he and Martin were so focused on Benny that they dismissed the idea of Desmond being the one responsible and seeing how Desmond was killing in that town to rile Benny that means killing Benny would have allowed the actual killer to get away. Martin at least gets a pass on two counts - one was nuts and two he was a black and white hunter.
As for the text, yes it was a dick move but it doesn't compare to be physically assaulted and being left unresponsive in a possibly dangerous medical state. Though the bash on the head seems to allow Dean the power to imbue said text message the ability to move Sam through time and space seeing how he traversed over 700 miles in Martin's crap station wagon in the blink of an eye.
As for Dean lying about Benny from day one - did Sam really push to find out how Dean got out passed Cas didn't make it. How long did it take for Dean to get a second name about Amelia or where she lived ( and that didn't come out until after Sam found out Dean was keeping a secret in the first place) that smacks a lot of how trusting Sam is with his brother prior to the Benny thing coming out. Just as much as swapping out the numbers just in case speaks about how Dean trusts Sam - it is just Dean played a smarter game this time around.
Neither one is lilly white and as for again with the Amy reference, Dean didn't set someone on Amy to sit and watch and hope she'd do something wrong, she had killed people in the first place to get hunters on her trail. If Martin hadn't been told that Benny was a vamp and the bodies started would he have suspected Benny at all?
Those are the reasons we discuss Sam and you can't say they aren't there.
I agree that predictable shows get boring. I don't want Supernatural to get predictable but that doesn't mean I want to guess which form of the main characters are going to show up on a episode by episode basis. The plot should bring the unpredictability, not the 5th version of Sam in 5 episodes. Some things have to be consistent to make a believable show and that's where the characters come in. I am all for character growth but it has to be a process not wildly jumping one place and then not following up on it with the next episode. Right now they are just making Dean and Sam jump through a different set of hoops each episode with no continuity between them. That gets old and stale very quickly too, knowing that nothing that happens in an episode is going to matter once the 42 minutes are over.
ReplyDeleteI think instead of a subconscious retcon, Jeremy Carver just decided to throw out everything in Supernatural's previous 7 seasons that didn't fit his idea of where he wanted to take the show the fans be damned.
ReplyDeleteI actually do not have a problem with either Sam cuffing Dean to the radiator or Dean sending the text. They both knew that the other brother was going to try to stop them and they both did what they had to to complete their mission. Sam knew that Dean would try to prevent him from Killing Benny so he left his unconscious, bleeding brother handcuffed to a radiator. Dean knew that Sam wouldn't stop hunting Benny so he sent him on a wild goose chase that led to Sam seeing his love in the arms of another man, reinforcing that Sam could never have the life he wanted back. Were both douche moves? Yeah but they were necessary to do what each brother thought was best. If we think of it in another way, Sam tried to prevent Dean from seeing his brother kill his friend and Dean tried to prevent Sam from the guilt of killing someone who didn't deserve it.
ReplyDeleteMy concern about Sam's attitude towards Benny streams from how out of character it is. Sam has always been the first person to stand up for a creature that isn't killing people and even one who just did. It seems like because Sam was ticked at Dean when he first met Benny that he has transferred that anger to Benny too. That is not the Sam I've known for 7 years. Of course Dean's comments do not help and are out of character too to me.
As for the rest of your comment, I heartily disagree. There is a big difference between Amy who just killed someone and Benny who had not killed anyone since before he went to Purgatory but that argument is pointless because we will never agree on it. I do think that Dean is justifiably angry at Sam for not looking for him. I am surprised that he hasn't thrown a punch yet and I think it is reasonable for Dean to stay angry for quite awhile. Sam's constant comments about leaving are to me the equivalent of Dean's comments about Benny. Both sound like a betrayal to the other brother and both need to stop right now. I'm not saying that Sam does not deserve to walk away. He does but it seems like he flings these comments wily nily to hurt Dean just like Dean throws the Benny comments to hurt Sam. Neither brother is innocent in this. I also completely disagree that Dean could have convinced Sam to give Benny the benefit of the doubt. Sam does not trust Dean. Dean does not trust Sam. That's the heart of the problem. Nothing Dean could have said would have changed Sam's mind except for Sam seeing the other vampire killing someone in front of his own two eyes. Still then he probably would have suspected Benny was in on it too. They both thought they were right and they are both stubborn. More importantly, neither are listening to each other anymore. This is the crux of the problem that goes beyond this one episode. It is the number one thing Jeremy Carver needs to fix. If the brothers can't listen, talk to each other or trust in each other, there is no brother bond anymore and the foundation of the show is left in crumbles. Both brothers are wildly out of character and until that is fixed, it won't matter what happens in individual episodes.
Strange, all the hate for this season and episode. I've seen this season as a massive improvement over seasons 6 and 7, even if its not perfect. I guess its impossible to please the SPN fandom all the time. Okay it is /definitely/ impossible to please the SPN fandom all the time. Any time a little strife comes between Dean and Sam (which has been going on since season 1 so if someone hates it so terribly much, why are they still watching?), people scream about how horribly wrong it is.
ReplyDeleteThe brothers go through some seriously tough sh**. While it brings them together at times, why shouldn't it drive wedges? Sure, I'm a little tired of them bickering, but I've seen most of their arguments as pretty well founded. They're siblings, they're not always going to agree, and they're going to gripe at eachother and have fights, and they're going to forgive eachother, and they're going to go through that same cycle all over again. Why do people expect them to have the perfect relationship?
That said, secondary characters have always been strong on SPN, and that's something to love about the show. However, I agree that this season, secondaries seem stronger and more interesting then the brothers. Except for Amelia, whose story line continues to be annoying and weak. The writers should really stop trying to give the Boys long term relationships by now... Fans don't like it, and they can't pull it off. The only woman I ever liked Sam was was the werewolf in Heart, and they killed her off in the same episode. (logically so).
Benny, Cas, and Kevin are still quite a joy to watch, and I love the Dean flashbacks and PTSD are fun. I too LOVED the bits about the brothers actually talking things out this episode, until it desolved into Sam slamming the phone down on Dean. I believe this ONLY happened because Dean killed Amy, and Dean killing Amy was the most retarded episode of the entire dang show so I wish they wouldn't stem any other plot points off of it. Sam used to be the most understanding, trusting, wanting to give someone a chance character of the show, and now he's adopted Dean's former 'Its a monster, its gotta die' philosophy. Is this a natural character evolution though, I wonder. There've been many events to lead both of the brothers to feeling the way they do now. Sam becoming a little more Deanish, in distrusting monsters, Dean becoming more Sam-ish in needing to trust them. It makes sense.
We have completely opposite tastes since I think on an episode by episode basis (not season long mytharc, which was decidedly weak) season 7 was the strongest since season 3. However brother rifts are a huge problem for me so that explains a lot. I loathe the second half of season 4.
ReplyDeleteI understand that brothers fight but this season just like the utterly pointless Amy subplot in season 7, that I loathe as much as you, feel like the writers stretching to create a superficial rift. It literally feels like I am watching the writers run out of ideas since the only way they know how to create drama is to either manufacture a nonsensical brother chasm or kill someone off. They desperately need to get new writers and use the actual plot to create drama.
LOL that is so true and very obvious :) But I also think that there was a ret-con even earlier in some aspects: For example, I feel like the whole 'vessel' thing was one giant ret-con that eventually became more canon then the original canon ;)
ReplyDeleteDahne-- god, I just love how you somehow just manage to express my thoughts every time. This is exactly the reason why I'm a passive viewer this season (ie I don't actually watch the episodes...just read the reviews, etc.)
ReplyDeleteIt is so funny how I can disagree with things you say about Sam and Dean, yet on this I am with you 100%...how does that work?? lol
ReplyDeleteI never said they were what I am saying that Sam shouldnt be the only one that is looked at.As for Benny Martin called Sam for a job he asked to watch
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I disagree with is I am NOT sure Benny killed Martin, Liz had way to much blood on her.
ReplyDeletePossible she killed him to save Benny and either because he couldn't hold out any longer or to protect her from the police by making it look like an animal ripped out Martin's throat fed on him
ReplyDeleteI didn't have a problem with Season 4 and 5 but 6-8 Sam and Dean's story lines have been too rough. (Like you said, the fighting has become pointless, and I think there has been way too much of it- the only break we had from it was episode 7 and 8).
ReplyDeleteAlso didn't like them killing off Bobby and Cas basically having a similar story to Season 4 Sam, though I'm liking Cas's story in Season 8 a lot. In fact, Cas's story this season and the main idea for the myth-arc is the only reason I like Season 8 in any way right now. I want the brothers back asap please. Or at least Bobby so he can hit them behind the head for being idjits.
All the new writers have made things bad over recent seasons. We need old writers back, not new ones.
ReplyDeleteYeah the plot should be driving the predictably, not the way the characters act. That can change, but not into completely different characters- the characters are supposed to grow and learn from past experiences but still stay true to their core personalities.
ReplyDeleteI still think that minus the disaster that was Bitten, Robbie Thompson is the best writer in the room and he's new.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I brought that up in the podcast. My first reaction was "what the heck Loflin." It was such a startlingly inappropriate comment.
ReplyDelete
