It was a great episode altogether, but I especially loved that moment with Mills and Casey at the end. It was sweet how Casey showed him how for every one they lose, they save at least one more. That smile Mills had on his face shows that he gets that the job is worth it, despite a rough day now and then.
I felt sorry for the poor visiting fireman because of his speech impedient. But no, not a speech impediment, it was supposed to be a Toronto accent. I've lived almost all my life in Toronto, and I've NEVER heard anyone say 'oot' much less the fake English accent he later used to apologise on behalf of 'the Commonwealth of Canada'. Commonwealth? Canada has never been a Commonwealth.
Gabby's storyline with all the breach of confidentiality not just by Gabby but also the doctor at the hospital was shoddy writing. Not to mention, here in Toronto, when a paramedic brings a patient in, she talks directly to the doctor or nurse especially if there is a concern. I guess in Chicago, they just drop them off like a delivered package.
Shay and Severide was both working my last nerve with her ex girlfriend and his refusal to be properly treated for his shoulder pain.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
