  1. POI is a great show and I'm happy for its success but somewhere there's a Walking Dead EP chuckling over this press release. :)

  2. That's fantastic news! Totally deserves it!

  3. Awesome. This week 2 shows have been recognized for their awesome ratings. More notably though, they're actually shows that deserve those ratings unlike certain other overrated shows with good ratings *cough*X-Factor*cough*TwoandaHalfmen*cough*TheBigBangTheory*cough*.

  4. Sweet! Congrats!

  5. Awesome news. I didn't realize numbers were so high. (I presume these are final numbers with delayed viewing factored in, but still, pretty darn amazing.) I hope this keeps up. And I'll bet that CBS is really regretting not giving POI the post super-bowl slot cause they could've really capitalized on this. Keep it up POI! JC is awesome as Mr. Reese!

  7. Glad this was posted,i've been seeing this on twitter all afternoon..

  8. I think this press is referring to shows ONLY in the big, non-cable networks, such as FOX, NBC, ABC, and CBS.

  9. Isn't it a little early for renewals?

  10. Yes, I know. That's why they specifically said "network television" in the press release. I was only making a joke in reference to TWD's 18-49 demo numbers and how they're crushing everything on both network and cable TV.

  11. Normally, yes. However, with a show that's a clear success like POI, an early renewal isn't out of the realm of possibility. It's unlikely but possible.

  12. Haha, no worries. I can't catch sarcasm sometimes.

  14. I should really watch Person of Interest, the premise sounds intriguing but after I ended my last phase of enjoying procedurals I have not really gotten back into them at all, not even Bones. Plus, the main guy who played Henry on Lost has quite possibly the most irritating male voice on the planet, but now that it's winter hiatus perhaps I will give it a shot.

  15. Ahhhh...the Power of Lost and JJ Abrams....im sure the majority of people that started watching this show was to see Lost "Ben" (micheal emerson) act and see what great show JJ had created (with Nolan's help) and look at what happened...Instant Success....☺.....

  16. POI is a great show. Definitely deserves more growth in viewers. The main cast does a great job acting, even the guest stars are great, and the writing is superb. The action scenes and fighting sequences are well done. Every episode has entertained and been very exciting. I hope the show continues growing in numbers.

  17. Definitely a great show - the writing is solid and the four stars are all excellent. The chemistry between Caviezel and Emerson is what really makes it a stand out though. And the addition of Bear this year... ;)

  20. I had not been following TWD's ratings this season but someone mentioned it to me a couple of days ago and I was like what the fuck! I did not believe him until I checked it out myself. It is unbelievable how awesome the show's ratings are. The show completely deserves it...
