“I am a sorcerer, I have magic”

REALLY enjoyed this episode!!
ReplyDeleteTrailer Teaser
ReplyDelete"I am a magician,I have magic."
I don't know,wishful thinking?Fingers crossed!
Yeah finally a magic reveal about 2 seasons too late but better late than neve
ReplyDelete"I am a sorcerer. I have magic" Oh sweet unicorns PLEASE.
ReplyDeleteAre you allowed to tell us anything?
ReplyDeleteI think there's bits for just about every fan to enjoy, it's a very well balanced and fast paced episode. I didn't think it was particularly sad at all, so not sure why some sites have been describing it as a tear fest...though I have a feeling the next episode could well be. There is no doubt that some characters feel despair and find what is ahead of them daunting, but they are doing all they can for the United Kingdom that Arthur dreams of.
ReplyDeleteI CAN'T.
ReplyDelete"I am a sorcerer, I have magic???!!!!!!" Oh my GOD!
ReplyDeleteOther guesses: "In robbing him of his magic you have lost yourself an ally"
"A weapon worthy of my proudest warrior."
"I always thought you were the biggest ass I ever met."
How did I do? Also I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS I CANNOT HANDLE IT!!!!!!!
Thanks for teasers. I don't fear episode 12, i figured that they wont start killing people off (if deaths are going to take place) until episode 13. So many depressing rumors floating about. I am on tenterhooks as I wait for the finale.
ReplyDeleteTrailer teaser: 'I am a sorcerer. I have magic!' Yes, finally.
ReplyDelete“In robbing him of his magic you have lost yourself an ALLY ” also an earlier guess, seems to fit well, but I cannot imagine who would say this to Morgana
ReplyDelete“We can only be grateful she failed” That girl, that Gwaine fancies, forgotten her name
“Let her go, she is not your enemy, I am” Gwaine
“Those are not the values that Camelot was built on” Merlin
“A WEAPON worthy of my proudest warrior” earlier guesses must be right - Morgana
“I always thought you were the BRAVEST MAN I ever met. Guess I was wrong” Gwaine to Merlin (could be Gwaine's reaction finding out that Merlin has magic.)
“If I find what I’m looking for I will perfectly safe, I promise you” Merlin to Gaius
“Then there is nothing more to be said, except that whatever it is I wish him luck” Arthur
“I have no reason to go on, the battle is already over, Morgana has won” Arthur
“Move towards the light, your destiny awaits” Balinor to Merlin
Feeling sick in anticipation. :)
Thanks, this makes me feel a little bit more at ease.
ReplyDeleteI have a continuous feeling that the Christmas will not be ruined bc of how Merlin ends. It may be intense and emotional and there might be people dying but it's going to blow our minds in a good way in the end. I do have a slight Arwen fear though that's why I won't ask about them...
ReplyDeleteThe moment Merlin screams with extreme despair "Noooooooo" in the cave, is it as heartbreaking as it seemed in the trailer?
ReplyDeleteIs it Merlin saying "I am a sorcerer. I have magic". Do we see to what character he talks at this moment?
ReplyDeleteMy Christmas wish for episode 13: Once Arthur finds out about Merlin he has (maybe induced by an ultimate power - remember Spock used to do this on Startrek) a major flashback showing all those occasions in which Merlin saved him, helped him and put things right for him by using magic. That would be soooo satisfying!
ReplyDeleteCan you tell if the Merlin/Balinor reunion is heartbreaking?
ReplyDeleteeven Arwen fans will be delighted?
ReplyDeleteI am a sorcerer, I have magic!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG! Is it true?? I know this is the end already and yet, this moment's still too surreal.
Nope, it's not Merlin.
ReplyDeleteHmm, not really. It's sweet, and great to see the actor on the show again.
ReplyDeleteNo kiss, but yes some lovely GIFs are going to be all over tumblr after this episode
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid I haven't seen any rumours floating about, I've been so busy that I haven't really had time. Maybe that's a good thing thou, lol
ReplyDeleteDepends on who's saying it I guess, it's not Merlin I'm afraid
ReplyDeleteSome great guesses! i'll update half the names tomorrow :)
ReplyDeleteOhhhh Sandi. How can you!!!! God. It must be Mordred then.....I assume.....
ReplyDeleteHmmm, for me it wasn't tbh. Well, the performance is, but it's the one point in the script that I was thinking 'wtf is your problem hun'. But I guess the situation was just getting too much to bear for him at the time, he's still a pretty young man I guess.
ReplyDeletelol, sorry hun. tbh I didn't think people would get the line right so quickly,
ReplyDeleteThere isn't any other line from the trailer, so it kinda had to be this one :(
ReplyDeleteSo disappointed that line isn't Merlin! Do you think anything in 5x12 sets up for a magic reveal in 5x13, anyway? I need some hope to cling to :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a good thing. I would have had a better day yesterday if I had stayed away from them :)
ReplyDeleteYou mean it's Mordred who says this line? It should have been Merlin...
ReplyDeleteThere's been so much negativity out there about the end of the show for the last few weeks, I find that if I do read too much of it then I get very down about it. The cast have said that they are happy about the ending, that it makes sense character wise and what not, I'd rather cling on to that I think than start looking around for rumours elsewhere I think.
ReplyDeleteThe last two episodes (11 and 12) have been brilliant imo. I know there's bound to be sadness on the way, and I still think my first gut reaction to seeing the spoiler about the last scene will prove to be right (that the golden age is in the present, cheesy enough for the J's to come up with 9_9). But I know for sure that the cast will give it their all, and if they think the ending is good rather than saying the lead up to the end is good then I am going to believe them tbh.
do we have their final goodbye yet or we have to wait for ep 13 ? :(
ReplyDeleteIs there satisfying Merlin/Gaius scenes and Merlin/Dragon scenes please?
ReplyDeleteFinal goodbye? Not sure what you mean, sorry
ReplyDeleteDepends what you mean by satisfying?
ReplyDeleteoh OK cool thanks :) at least that is something to look forward to :) from what you have seen, do you think we are still possible in getting the kiss before the end?
ReplyDeleteWell Arthur is leaving for Camlann.... also in the finale trailer there's a tent hug btw them
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wlm1vMx5a_c
I was wondering if it happens in this ep or in the next one.
The hug in the tent? That does happen yes :)
ReplyDeleteNo idea I'm afraid, sorry hun.
ReplyDeleteokay, did it felt like a final goodbye scene to you? thanks for the confirmation.
ReplyDeleteThanks for replying! :) I meant will we see Merlin/Gaius and Merlin/his dragon get good, meaningful, long dialogues. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteAhh, gotcha. Merlin and Gaius do :)
ReplyDeleteNope, the hug isn't a final goodbye.
ReplyDeletewhat really i was really looking forward to seeing that in the trailer for ep 13 im not now so i gues it will be mordred to arthur
ReplyDeleteThank you! You're so sweet for taking the time. <3
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. I'm just sorry if my answers are a bit vague or I question what people mean at times, there are certain things I cannot obviously say.
ReplyDeletei should of guessed it wasnt him after someone wrote this There is a magic reveal, don’t fear, but not until it’s far too late. He’ll
ReplyDeletenever get the true recognition that people want. mordred will probably say he has magic near the start of the episode to arthur or maybe a knight of camelot before he kills one of them maybe but yeah sound more and more like it is gonna be right at the end but i really dont know if what that person wrote is true so anything can still happen.
I wouldn't be too upset, I think people will understand the line better once they have seen ep 12 tbh, it is a good thing ;)
ReplyDeleteoh I was hoping there would be a kiss in that tent scene... but it seems not... grrr :(
ReplyDeleteI think you will be happy about that scene, esp the end of it, even I (a non shipper) went awwwwwwwwwwwwww ;)
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be too downhearted, as I've said to another comment on here, once you have seen ep 12 the line will make much more sense.
ReplyDeleteoh ok great that gives me hope :) maybe my wish will be fulfilled in the final episode!!
ReplyDeleteoh OK great that is good to know :) really looking forward to it now :) they could use a kiss really after 12 episodes, but anwyays... thanks :)
ReplyDeleteinteresting still what ever or what doesnt happen still really looking forward to the episode also from other teasers and hints it sounds like this might be the episode with the tavern scene in it.
ReplyDeleteIs it a good thing for Merlin himself too?
ReplyDeleteI totally understand. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry if I'm not being very clear about the trailer teaser, I think I had better stop commenting on it as I've given enough away as it is and I don't wanna get into trouble. All I will say is that it's made me want to see the finale NOW!!! Which is I guess the point of it, lol.
ReplyDeleteYep, very funny tavern scene is in this. It helps to lighten up the mood before the darker stuff in the rest of the episode :)
Sorry for asking so much questions, Sandi. I have one more question, if you may. Would you say that this is a good episode for Merlin himself. Does he get to see his own situation developped, do we see him some get some kind of "reward"? Does his own story go forward? Thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteTHANK GOD. Thank you so much for this :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links. I
ReplyDeletereally enjoyed last episode and so I trust you also for this one. May I ask you
if there are are some good moment between Morgana and Arthur and between Merlin
and Arthur? I mean, some good dialogue: I'm waiting for a confrontation between
Morgana and Arthur - in ep. 13 of season 4 it was too short cut - and I love
the little pep talks/banter moments between Arthur and Merlin, the two actors
are great together and so every dialogue between them.
oh ok i can wait to see it so its fine .
ReplyDeletethe tavern scene does sound funny i bet arthur kind of feels like he is gonna humiliate merlin cant wait to see his reaction when merlin keeps beating him also just wondering when the tavern scene happens are the other knights there to cause it would be hilarious arthur bragging then losing in front of his knights to merlin.
Does Gwen have some good stuff in this episode? I hope she's in this one more than she was last week.
ReplyDeleteMerlin and Arthur have a couple of great scenes together, though one is a bit tough to watch :( I agree, both Bradley and Colin make the screen light up when they interact with each other!
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't have a huge amount to do, thou the trailer suggests that she will be pivotal in the last episode. She is however Arthur's rock in this part which is fantastic to see.
ReplyDeleteYou alway have such good guesses and I love your profile picture! Nimeh is always awesome. Still angry at merlin for killing her :/
ReplyDeleteDo Gwen and merlin share any scenes together?
ReplyDeleteYou know I think the screen lights up everytime Colin Morgan appears in it. :)
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks for sharing. I can't wait to see it.
ReplyDeleteThanks DearBee06! Now that we are at the end of Merlin, i will most likely change my profile picture and on screen name to something more general soon. So I can also give away why I chose Nimueh (an enemy, really). I liked her in season 1 but this is not the reason.
ReplyDeleteIn one of the Merlin books I read she is the only woman Merlin ever had a relationship with. :D It is as embarrasing as that :)
I think I know which scene you are referring too. Without saying too much . is it about Merlin and bravery and going to places.....
ReplyDeletesoorry if I bother you again, but I'm not english speacker so this is not very clear to me: with "tough to watch" do you mean "sad, dramatic"? I'm ok with drama, in any case.
ReplyDeleteYou are no bother at all, your English is very good :)
ReplyDeleteHmm, I can't say too much about it, but I think it will become obvious once the names have been added into the teasers in the post.
That's the one :)
ReplyDeleteDo Gaius and Gwen share a scene by any chance?
ReplyDeleteIt's looking like Gwen will take Merlin's place by Arthur's side before the battle, and that Arthur won't worry about Merlin's absence at all and will think him cowardly. I so wish I had stopped watching after season 1 tbh.
ReplyDeleteOh God! Please, no! What a horrible nightmare!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds VERY tough to me! I can't bear to hear that from his lips at this very late stage when we expect otherwise.:(
ReplyDeleteNoone ever doubted the cast giving their best. In most parts this show only servived thanks to the cast. They also obliged to say what they are expected to say. Why after all the recent reviews I hope to enjoy the episodes I have a funny feeling that magical reveal, if at all happens, will be handled at the very last moment and Merlin will be left drained and alone. This part is rather depressing.
ReplyDeleteMerlin himself never wanted recognition. I would be more than happy if Arthur learns the truth and accepts Merlin for who he is & realise what Merlin has doen for him all thses years. I bet he will die promptly after though....
ReplyDelete********* SPOILER ALERT *************
ReplyDeleteWell, without magic Merlin is not much help and he cannot tell it to Arthur. Merlin knows that won't be the last battle and he needs to recover the skills to protect Arthur in the last one. Logic nonwithstanding, this will be very heartbreaking scene to watch.
Funny how it seems that the titular character won't have huge impact in the last episodes. How that is supposed to be satisfying only TPTB know :(
ReplyDeleteCan you point me to the teaser that does a reference to "Merlin, bravery and going to places" please? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYes, and from the latest spoilers Merlin will be old Emrys for the most part of episode 13, if not forever. I'm just so disappointed. After episode 5 there was nothing to support the friendship and the destiny Arthur and Merlin share. And now Arthur will die thinking that Merlin is a coward. I just don't know why the writers and producers hate the fans of Merlin so much.
ReplyDeletetbh you don't know how completely wrong you are when you say Merlin won't be by Arthur's side!
ReplyDeleteMore assumptions, why not wait til you have seen it first :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a brilliant episode for Merlin, I can't say much obviously but his true destiny starts in this one
ReplyDeleteHmm, not alone as I recall
ReplyDeleteYep :)
ReplyDeleteHey Sandi, just wondering do we see a lot of old emrys scenes or is that mostly in ep13? Thank you
ReplyDeleteThank you! You're a sweetheart. <3
ReplyDeleteHaha, "starts in this one"???!!! We foolishly thought it started in season 1. :) Obviously what we thought was his destiny was in fact not.
ReplyDeleteI was talking about being "BY Arthur side", at the battle field, from all the teasers it seems that Merlin won't join Arthur this time around ( this is poor speculation assuming my guesses of the dialogs are correct) There was never any doubt that Merlin is "ON" Arthur's side.
ReplyDeleteIt's more speculations and not much trust in the producers, than assumptions. I'm more than happy to be proved wrong :)
But he doesn't *need* to physically be by Arthur's side in order to help him win the battle, wizards are awfully handy like that you know :p
ReplyDeleteObviously not in your case, people have different ways of interpreting the show after all :) For me however, this is the episode where Merlin finally reaches a position where he is able to become what he's been aiming for since the start of the series.
ReplyDeleteNOW I'm excited!!!! :) Thank you very much Sandi!!!
ReplyDeleteRight, that sounds itriguing indeed. Is it Sunday yet???!!! (I only able to see it on Sunday...)
ReplyDeleteOnce again, thank you Sandi for all the answers and putting up with us! :)))))
You're welcome. I think I had better just say that I don't know the outcome of the battle, in case I've muddied the water with my last comment. And there are ugh moments during the prep for the battle obviously, as teasers on the net suggest. BUT, it's not all doom and gloom as far as episode 12 goes. I have yet to see the finale yet thou, so it may go all tits up yet, but I'm hopeful after seeing this one.
ReplyDeleteOh noes, I bet Saturday night is gonna be the longest night ever, I feel for you :( Will you read what happens before watching, or go in blind to it?
ReplyDeleteSorry if I was a bit snippy last night, I had a migraine approaching which didn't help my mood. Thankfully an early night has shifted it :) I know there's a lot of doom and gloom rumours out there at the moment, but I have mostly stayed away from them as I find it only makes me angry and dread the end of the show. There are so many different types of fan out there, and what some find disappointing will not be a problem for others, and everyone will have different interpretations of what happens on screen anyway.
I think that we, as the hardcore fans, will most likely have the most issues with how everything turns out (large chunks of S5 come to mind, lol). But he majority of people who watch it on the TV is who it is made for at the end of the day; live viewing do figures count, even on the BBC. If it wasn't for the millions of casual fans tuning in every week then us more rabid ones wouldn't even have a show to follow to it's conclusion, it would finish even more unsatisfactorily without any proper end at all if it were cancelled. I think that we have to remember that sometimes, and know that we always have the fantastic characters the actors have given life to...and fan fiction to fall back on, lol.
Because tbh, it's not like there are spoilers to make me excited about the upcoming episodes, only the ones saying that everything will be about Arthur's love for Gwen and Merlin spending the last episode in his Emrys make-up. Sorry to be a let down, but...
ReplyDeleteI can't really respond to anything about the last episode as I haven't seen it and I'm actively staying away from rumours for it due to the doom and gloom approach I have seen in the past about it. This post about episode 12 has had little about Arthur's love for Gwen thou, and plenty of teasers about the other characters, so that seems a bit of an odd response from my point of view.
ReplyDeleteReally? I thought that 'she is Arthur's rock' comment said a lot about where Arthur's attention will be in the episode, but since it's too odd to make this conclusion I'll back away, really. Sorry for bothering you.
ReplyDeleteYou expect me to ignore questions from fans you don't approve of? I said there is a "little" about them and plenty about other characters too. Sorry if the balance isn't right for you.
ReplyDeleteIt's just that when anyone expresses anything but complete adoration about the upcoming episode they're suddenly wrong, odd and should go away.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I don't think that's true at all, not from my pov and I certainly haven't said that anyone should 'go away'. What I have said however is that I don't understand why you are saying that the *only* thing talked about the show here is arwen, when that blatantly isn't true even from the scantest skimming of the comments. I have answered all the questions that I am able to do so, and repeatedly apologised for things I can't discuss. If you want to ask any questions about the episode then I will also do my best to answer them too. I can't help thinking that might be a better thing to do than complaining about answers to things you don't want to hear about.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to wonder what on earth these rumours are that are being bandied around about the close of the show when I see people being so consistently down about it. The doom and gloom about the ending of the show wore me down a few weeks ago, but I have never understood that approach that fans sometimes take on any show. If it's $h!te once it's been watched then I get it completely, and I'd be among the first to criticise it and list my complaints, as I did with 5.10, lol.
I think it' would be best if we stopped here, since we obviously have very different opinions about the show and what makes episodes great (I thought that the characterisation in 5x10 was far better than in 5x09. I'm just not a fan of sappy love stories). So I'll stop bothering you and have a nice day :)
ReplyDeleteIf you feel that is the best course of action. I'll be here if you do have any questions about what does interest you :)
ReplyDeleteYou know I think that Sandi is EXTREMELY patient with people answering questions here!
ReplyDeleteHave a good read of the spoiler predictions made on this thread. There is one I thought Gwaine might say, but it LOOKS LIKE it might be Arthur.
ReplyDeleteAs pointed out by Sandi above, please understand that these are assumptions ONLY we are basing a huge discussion on. I am sure that the CONTEXT of when and how things happen and are said will make a big difference to the interpretation.
thanks Nimueh, I try my best. It means a lot to me that you've said that :)
ReplyDelete'us more rabid ones' LOL
ReplyDeleteIndeed! I've always been more of a Bradley (and the knights [squee!]) fan than a Colin one, but I think all the youngsters have all grown hugely as actors on the show despite some of the crud hey have had handed to them script wise. It's pretty obvious that they have all had a ball making it too, and have forged deep friendships. I wish them all the best of luck in future projects.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear we won't be fighting over 'men' then :D
ReplyDeleteAnd my, haven't they grown up! I can't wait to hear what Colin's new project in Januray is. I know he loves the theatre, too. I'd love to see him live on stage.
Think it`s Mordred then who say it? To Arthur?
ReplyDeleteHehe, I think I was the only person in the afternoon session at Cold Con who was glad to see Bradders via Skype than Colin in the flesh at the morning one XD I'm not that I don't like Colin and his acting, I too would love to see him on the stage, but I've always been one for the swashbuckling hero, esp if he's a lil bumbling too ;)
ReplyDelete“In robbing him of his magic you have lost yourself an ally” Mordred???? to Morgana, can't see why it should be Mordred. Unless it is a character we do not know yet - the baldheaded guy from the pictures???
ReplyDelete“We can only be grateful she failed” Gaius to Merlin
“Let her go, she is not your enemy, I am” ? Gwaine to a Saxon
“Those are not the values that Camelot was built on” ? Arthur to everyone at the Round Table
“A weapon worthy of my proudest warrior” ? Morgana to Mordred
“I always thought you were the bravest man I ever met. Guess I was wrong” Arthur to Merlin, Big Ouch!
“If I find what I’m looking for I will perfectly safe, I promise you” Merlin to Gaius (I love the IF part in that sentence)
“Then there is nothing more to be said, except that whatever it is I wish him luck” ? Arthur to Gaius (ending THAT scene, maybe)
“I have no reason to go on, the battle is already over, Morgana has won” Merlin to Balinor Wow. That sounds awresome. Merlin (temporarily, I am sure) giving up!
“Move towards the light, your destiny awaits” ? Balinor to Merlin
Just wondering, does anyone know how long the 'longest thread ever' was??? This seems to works its way up to it, surely! .)
ReplyDelete“In robbing him of his magic you have lost yourself an ally” Ari to Morgana
ReplyDelete“We can only be grateful she failed” Gaius to Merlin
“Let her go, she is not your enemy, I am” Gwaine to a Saxon

“I am a sorcerer, I have magic” Mordred to Arthur
OH GOD THE SAME EFFING QUESTION EVERY SINGLE WEEK, CAN YOU PLEASE GROW UP.
ReplyDeleteYOU ARE SO BORING
ReplyDeleteWell, if there is any time you would like me to go instead of you when Colin is around .....
ReplyDeleteBtw it is not that I do NOT like Bradley. He has grown so much in his role over the years. Thought he was stunning in season 4 and this one anyway. But as for me, I like the slightly arty, idealistic, darker types. :D
pardon me, but did I offend you or something?? what gives you the right to insult me in this way?? do you know we live in a free country where everyone is entitled to his opinion?? let me ask my questions as much as I please because I have every right to do so... if you do not like it, DO NOT READ IT!! I think it is you who should grow up, because you seem childish enough not to be able to respect other people's opinions...
ReplyDeleteThe way this show works, and how they write Queen Mary Sue, I wouldn't be surprised if Gwen's out on the battlefield with low cut, off the shoulder armor on, slaying everyone because the knights and Arthur pale in everything compared to her perfection.... sigh
ReplyDeleteNimueh123 Ha :) Not even close I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteThe largest one was the "What did you think of Poll" for the final Episode of LOST. It has over 1,500 comments and 50, 000 votes ;)
You can see it here
http://darkufo.blogspot.com/2010/05/what-did-you-think-of-episode-61718-end.html
when was the last time you looked in the mirror?? I think you would see an embryo in a woman's womb, because from the stupidity in your posts, it seems you are childish enough not to tolerate others.
ReplyDeleteNow that is impressive! Must have taken a wee wjile reading thorugh them :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info!
I bet that the teaser line is from Mordred to Arthur... It's sad how their friendship ended(
ReplyDeleteHow do you think, or maybe you've seen it in the trailer - will there be scenes between Arthur and Merlin(not old Emrys) in 5x13?
Yeah, I think Bradley was at his peak in S4, I don't think a week went by without me praising his performance. I think it's pretty obvious that he's not been feeling it so much at times this year, which I put down to frustration in the lack of character growth.
ReplyDeleteHa indeed ;)
ReplyDeleteIs there a spoiler about Balinor I haven't seen?
ReplyDeleteIt seems certain that Balinor is coming back in 4.12. His name is in the list of characters. :)
ReplyDeleteYou say that the scene in the tent like it very much ..
ReplyDeleteand since we are close to Christmas, I would like a "small" miracle :)
Hope it does not cost anything!
I loved episode 5.10... One of my favorite episode of Series 5 with Episode 5.9. Didn't you like them, Sandi? :(

“I am a sorcerer, I have magic” MORDRED TO ARTHUR OR A KNIGHT OF CAMELOT
On behalf of "average fans", who don't care about "arwen" nor "merthur" or wathever this stuff is called, I'd like to tell you that you're being very gentle and way too patient with some people. I'm merely enjoying the show for the cast and the storyline (although I disliked some episode this season) and I don't understand all this babbling about fannish stuff. As for the tough A/M scene, logically Arthur will be disappointed with Merlin not coming with him and even more logically Merlin can not tell him the truth. So, where is the problem here? I'm totally ok with some angst between them, as long as we have a "reconciliation", which I'm sure it will be the case, since you said that Arthur will not end thinking Merlin a coward and since you said that you enjoyed the episode. Thank you again for your kindness and patience.
ReplyDeleteDo you honestly believe they are going to finish Merlin and Arthur not find out about his Magic? Come on it will happen in the last episode. And Merlin will only be without his powers for half an episode.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
ReplyDeleteI've just seen the finale, it's very good but also very sad, but we always knew that it would be I guess :'( I'll get the teasers up in a bit, but I don't think I am going to be able to answer very much at all I'm afraid, sorry guys :(
ReplyDeleteawww, thank you very much for your kind words :)
ReplyDeleteOh no you can't be serious... NOT THAT KIND OF SAD PLEASE...
ReplyDeleteI am freaking out with anticipation! Half of me is dreading watching, because it will mean that there's no more Merlin after Monday! But I'm so excited to see what happens....
ReplyDeleteI think everyone's probably already sussed out most of the answers, but here are my guesses:
“In robbing him of his magic you have lost yourself an ally” MORDRED (or some other random ally of Morgana's) to Morgana
“We can only be grateful she failed” Gaius to ARTHUR?
“Let her go, she is not your enemy, I am” GWAINE to a Saxon
“Those are not the values that Camelot was built on” ARTHUR to everyone at the Round Table
“A weapon worthy of my proudest warrior” MORGANA to Mordred
“I always thought you were the bravest man I ever met. Guess I was wrong” Arthur to (Everyone keeps saying MERLIN and I'm afraid they might be right! God, I hope not. Maybe he has a confrontation with MORDRED and says it to him?)
“If I find what I’m looking for I will perfectly safe, I promise you” Merlin to GAIUS
“Then there is nothing more to be said, except that whatever it is I wish him luck” ARTHUR to Gaius (About Merlin, I fear.)
“I have no reason to go on, the battle is already over, Morgana has won” Merlin to BALINOR
“Move towards the light, your destiny awaits” BALINOR to Merlin
How many did I get right? :)
I have to fess up to something now that I have seen episode 13, I don't think you guys are going to be very happy and I can't apologise enough.
ReplyDeleteEpisode 12 ends in such a way that I made an assumption which has turned out to be incorrect, and based on that assumption I have answered something in the comments here in a way that has turned out to be incorrect. The most annoying thing is that I cannot tell you which question/s I am talking about as I am not allowed to talk about it.
From looking at the rumours that have been circulating this week I don't think I am the only person that came to the wrong conclusion as there is one of them is saying the same thing I assumed. I am so, so sorry guys, I feel awful about this :(
in general would you say the conclusion was satisfying though?
ReplyDeleteGosh, no need to apologise, Sandi! Whatever happens, will happen now anyway!
ReplyDeleteThere is so much speculation about, one little thing more or less will not make much difference - I hope this sounds as it was meant.... :)
I wonder if you are referring to Mordred's line (no need to answer, just mulling it over)
You assumed it would turn out in a positive way, but maybe the trailer was deceiving.....
Could of course be anything else!
aww that's cute! she was the best villain tbh. have you read the winter king? Merlin's character is great in it and they have a really great relationship as well :)
ReplyDeleteawww so disappointing :'( it's like the writers forgot that they used to be friends before she starting being with Arthur.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the only bit between them that I can remember from this season was at the picnic the other week. And that was a blink and you'll miss it moment :(
ReplyDeleteCheers hun x
ReplyDeleteOn the whole I liked the episode a lot, but I did have niggles. Like showing Finna sending a message to Morgana when what she meant was Alator *at* Morgana's castle, which was a cheap feign to the audience that didn't work for me. And if she knew Alator was there, why did she sign her name and why didn't Alator get rid of the note once he'd read it.
ReplyDeletemore than half right :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's with reference to the last goodbye between gwen and Arthur it was their final scene together
ReplyDeleteI really need to stop reading spoilers. The more I read the more sad I feel and slightly pissed off with the writers - by the sounds of it the whole episode is doom and gloom. Granted we knew not everything could end happy - this would be cheesey and bad writing. BUT if the whole episode is just doom and gloom and there is no closure or hope then this is just as bad, if not worse writing. They would of essentially stabbed the audience (who made their show possible and stuck with it for the past 5 years) in the back.
ReplyDeleteNope, it's not about that, that much I can say. There is another (brief) scene in Ep 12 that they are both in after the hugging one in the tent.
ReplyDeleteJust curious, I have a few things that I want to ask, will the little box that Finna gave to Merlin make a reappearnce? She was constantly telling Merlin that he can save Arthur and bring about The Golden Age but all the box did was tell Merlin that Arthur will die... Is there more to it in the upcoming episodes? Also does Kilgarrah make an appearence in 5.13?
ReplyDeleteWhat Arthur tells to Merlin breaks my heart. I hope he'll know how wrong he is and that Merlin IS the bravest of all of them...
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. That was a stupid move from Finna and from Alator. But I liked that this episode showed poeple that have respect for Merlin and recognize him as the most powerful sorcerer. :)
ReplyDeleteSweet, really liked his character. Also he could help heal Kilgarrah (his dragonlord knowledge would be useful).
ReplyDeleteOn a happier note, the BBC has put up a lovely little humorous clip on the Merlin website. It's from the tavern. :)
ReplyDeletecan somebody load the new sneak peek video ?
ReplyDeleteHow have you already watched this episode?!?!? i would love to!
ReplyDeleteSandi has press access to the episodes as she is part of SpoilerTV
