  3. "I'm Bo, bitches"? That line is a little cringeworthy.

  4. Yeah. I was excited and everything was going well until she uttered that awful line and then the mediocrity of season two flooded my memories and now I'm skeptical all over again. :(

  5. S3 is almost here. I wonder if we can start to buy the eps on itunes outside of Canada? I noticed SyFy cut some scenes and would like to try and view the new eps online.

Anyone else get a sneaking suspicion that Bo will end up officially joining the Dark Fae this season?

That would certainly keep Dyson and the rest off her back and would allow her to continue operating even after all the stuff she supposedly pulls in premiere.

Not to mention that certain scenes in this trailer look surprisingly reminiscent of joining ritual.

  7. Bad Bo? Interesting I still doubt she will join up with The MorrĂgan.

  8. Huh? We've never seen a "joining ritual."

Bo is not going to officially choose sides. It is a fundamental premise. Your reasoning is flawed: It wouldn't let her continue operating. If she joined the dark she would be under the Morrigan's control and all the restrictions and requirements would go along with it. Plus, she wouldn't be able to interact with 90% of the cast. She's gonna flirt with the dark, but she won't permanently choose a side.

  9. I've calmed down since S2 ended, but I am worried that it will all come flooding back really quickly. With the cringe worthy dialogue and the inconsistencies. I hope for the best, but I fear the worst. I need an different obsession-level show, this one hurts my sanity too much.

  10. WTF? What's with the cringe-worthy lines?

  11. Okay...what are you people talking about? "I'm Bo, bitches" is cringeworthy? Half of everything that Kenzi says it more cringeworthy than that.

As for season 2 being mediocre, we ALL know it's because it had an extended season. It had like a 12 episode story that had to be spread about 22 episodes. Besides that, it had a lot of really good episodes that had nothing to do with the main story.

I think people have put the first season on too much of a pedestal. Season one's main story didn't actually start up until the last two or three episodes and was resolved really quickly. The rest of the season was a bunch of condensed story lines that mostly revolved around the absolutely boring Bo and Dyson relationship, with some much better Bo and Lauren sprinkled in.

If you haven't become numb to stupid lines like that, then you're taking this show way more seriously than it wants you to.

  12. Precisely. It was cheesy and cringe-worthy, yes, but so is most of this show anyway. And frankly, that's part of what's so great about it.

Someone has a very short-term memory?
The very first episode had a "joining ritual" - Bo kills a champion. while a huge amount of people watch and has to declare the side she sides with. Guess what we see in this very trailer above? Bo supposedly fighting/killing someone with a bunch of people standing in circle around her.

I am sorry but that's EXACTLY the kind of line I would expect to come out from Bo going on an evil darkness filled power-trip

  15. Seriously? You can't clearly express your point and you wanna get snarky about it? First off, short-term memory is immediate working memory and in most people lasts less than 30 seconds. Second, the "Gathering" as it is called in Fae Day or being "tested" as it was called in season 1 episode 1 are neither one called a "joining ceremony." And since it was archaic tradition they only invoked to try and kill off Bo when they found her and knew nothing about her except she upset their plans and they wanted her gone, it makes no sense that she would go through it again--unless they just have some underfae they want to kill off and forgot that she'd already passed and they've offered to let her choose a side half a dozen times already.

There have also been cage fighting episodes why not bring up one of those?Given that half the extras are wearing the same outfit, something like infiltrating a group (like another fae street gang like the red hats) or looking into an organized fighting ring seems much more likely.

PS. They weren't "champions" they were underfae. You're getting confused with Angel.

  16. it reminded me of Aife i guess that was the point that she is more like her mum
