  1. I can't even remember the last great show that fell from grace this harshly.

This is what happens when you drag the main storyline of the show for 8 FREAKING YEARS!!!

  2. I'm really excted about Seth but with this B/R stuff happening at the same time the B/R stuff trmps the Seth part of the episode which isn't great cause I have been wanting Seth on this show for years. But, my focus is Barney & Robin and what happens with them.

  4. That's a really quick proposal!!

  5. Yeah, I'm still not buying Barney/Patrice. All part of the plan. And then he and Robin will reunite and most likely get engaged.

    I cannot wait!

  6. i don't know if I can stomach watching these upcoming episodes. I am a Robin/Barney shipper and I think this is all a plan (I believe Barney proposes because he feels alone and wants someone in his life). But yeah...I don't think I can watch this.

  7. I really hope it isn't Robin and Ted that get engaged

  8. What?! This is too wierd to be true...

  9. I am 100% convinced that Barney/Robin get back together in this episode. It makes complete and utter sense.

  10. This must be a joke...
Anyway, I can't wait for the little Buffy reunion with Seth Green and Alyson Hannigan!!

  11. Ok, I'll try. But just now, I came to a realization. The interesting think is that it says in one of the press releases that a couple will be engaged by the end of the episode. And if it is Barney/Robin, I think I might know how it happens. I'll just what happens to see if I'm right or wrong. Thanks for encouraging me :)

  12. This is the crossroad... If Barney and Robin end up engaged after this one hour, that means this season is the last one... Idk how i feel about that. The perfect thing here will be yo introduce the mother and then see Ted be with her... I know the show is called HIMYM, but screw that!!!! xD

  13. I don't think it's Barney and Robin who'll get engaged in this ep, coz ep 14 is called "Ring Up!", so my guess is that Marshall's mom is the one who gets engaged, or maybe it's Seth Green's character who gets engaged and Lily and Marshall run into him while he's buying the ring.

And I definitely don't think it's Barney and Patrice, coz that would just postpone what we all know is gonna happen. And since we're almost halfway the season and this might be the last one, postpone is something they wouldn't do, imo. Coz then they'd have to rush things, and that's never a good idea.

  14. Barney/Robin sucks. I'm in a very frank mood today... Dislikes, anyone?

  15. To Seth Green and Peter Gallagher - wahoo! Could not be more excited for both of them on the show.

To Barney proposing to Patrice ... what? Dude has caught the proposing-too-quick disease from Ted. Or he's pulling something. All I hope is that if he's pulling something, Patrice and her broken hearted cookies are in on it, because otherwise, that's just too mean. Also, whatever this is wraps itself up quick, because I don't think I like it.

  16. Positive? What is positive about Barney and Robin? Oh well, the show has its showrunners, and its not me, so what do I complain. I just hope they will mercifully write it out of existence by the end of the season, because it became barely watchable...

  17. I mean... honestly, this show hasn't been consistently funny since Season 4, but it's still character driven and oddly charming, so I still watch. But it doesn't get to be regularly unfunny AND be predictable and slow at the same time.

Here's how this Patrice thing is going to go down: He talked to her more than we saw at the station. They talk about his feelings for Robin, Patrice tells him to fight for her. They come up with this plan to drive Robin crazy and get her to admit her feelings. Robin does go crazy and Ted recognizes what's going on (from her end), gives her a speech about going after what you love. She goes to tell Barney, and finds him standing on the roof with the rose petals (the image in the promotional photos), they admit they love each other and get engaged.

It'll probably be more cloying than nice. At least they'll be in new territory. The absolute crawl to an end we know is coming is getting painful, even to somebody who likes them.

  18. Please don't reply to me if it's to say something horrible. I understand that you have your likes and dislikes and that's understandable. But don't send a particular message to me, just add your comment to the page that's all.

  19. My thoughts exactly, klutzy. It's all just a set-up and Barney's really planning on proposing to Robin. So looking forward to this (and so glad that Bones is on hiatus while this is going down. Don't think I could wait until Tuesday to watch. I can barely wait til next Monday!)
