    I will have to agree to disagree. Cath was fine as a recurring character, but as a regular she has no point other than sex and favors and gratuitous cheesecake. The character is a Mary Sue. She is a communications or intelligence analyst, a desk jockey. Suddenly out of nowhere she is a PI, cop, undercover agent, hacker, martial artist, body guard, thief, B&E expert, safe cracker and acrobat. She does the work of Fong and Chin & Kono, even getting info while on her very extended leave. She can do everything, is perfect, everybody's best friend. I don't find her believable. Nor do I see any chemistry with Steve. If they wrote her with a purpose and a recognizable "real" skill set, it might make more sense. So yes, I don't think she is a great addition at all, but obviously you look at it differently. Different strokes for different folks.

    What happen on the episode where she is, and where she is a little everthing as you said, it's because she's on R&R, she's not working that day, and everything she do it's not at all official ! So she's only and Navy Intell member, that all !
    Concerning their chemistry and why she's there, mabe you're not totaly wrong, and , even I'm a huge fan of Cath et Steve being together, I hope their gonna move on a little, but with this peek, I not worried at all now ;)
    You have your idea about her of course and (unfortunately) you're not the only one not liking her as a regular ;)
