Let me guess, Artie hits his head and dreams this alternate reality. Hmm ....not sure it will be believable after they had the episode where Tina fell into the fountain and dreamed she was Rachel. Also didn't Sam propose to Quinn when they started dating? What does he propose to every girl he dates?
Leaving a trail of cheerios on the floor wasn't the least bit cute, it was quite repulsive actually, cute would've been if he left her a note to meet in the classroom and have a bowl of cheerios and milk waiting, putting them on the floor for her to eat... Just... no... And I thought Brittany was progressing this season and getting more mature, but no, they take her right back to toddler!Brittany *sigh*
I wouldn't call that "repulsive", but it wasn't even a moment I was thinking of. I was more talking about Brittany wanting to protect Sam from the "lesbian army" (which is probably offensive, actually), Sam's demonstration that he really remembers the little things she tells him, the cute smiles that were exchanged, and their overall chemistry.
And as far as his method with the cereal goes, I thought it made more sense than a note. It was creative, even if I personally wouldn't have eaten the cheerios off the floor. I think it was more likely to work on Brittany than a note, even if you're right about them regressing her character a bit.
Yup, those were quite cute moments, but the comment about the lesbian army and eating from the floor sort of put me off to the other cuteness. The comment about the lesbian bloggers also shows that the writers have misinterpreted the criticism completely, the "lesbian bloggers" aren't upset that Brittany dates a guy, she's bi, so that comes with the territory, what upsets them, and upsets all Brittana-shippers, (which is not just lesbians, they have fans of every orientation and gender,) is that Brittany has already gotten more storylines with Sam in season 4 than she had with Santana in season 3 while they were dating.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Oo, alternate reality!
ReplyDeleteOh so they're going from cute to stupid in the Sam and Brittany relationship that quickly.
ReplyDeletethe correct title at this point should be Glee Actually...sucks.

ReplyDeleteI don't think Sam proposed - I think it was a promise ring. But still, you're right haha... there's a kid who's not afraid of commitment.
ReplyDeleteIt's always great to see Papa Hummel! And I'm actually looking forward to "what if glee club never happened?"... I love alternate realities.
ReplyDeleteYeah, seriously... it was so cute tonight and they had to tank it.
ReplyDeleteTerry, there's a character i don't miss at all!
