Vegas - CBS cuts episode order, adds episodes to Elementary

CBS has reduced the episode order of Vegas by just one episode giving it a 21 episode season, and added two more episodes to Elementary for a 24 episode season.

    Sounds like they're just shuffling things around. With Elementary getting that coveted Super-Bowl spot they want to show extra support for the series.

    They better give Person of Interest an extra 2 episodes too. I saw Elementary and it was good enough but given it's soft (if passable) ratings, I am surprised that CBS is giving it such a push.

    Would love to see POI get 24 episodes...but remember, Elementary is a CBS show...POI belongs to Warner Bros.

    While I personally enjoy seeing as many episodes as possible, before a show goes on "season hiatus", I think around 20 episodes per season would potentially be better. That is, if they reduce the delay in "mid-season hiatus" to 2-3 weeks rather than several months.

    More episodes=more bottle/set-up/lazy episodes 99% of the time. I'd rather a block of 7/10-11/20-22 episodes with 3/6/12 month hiati rather than any other hiatus schedule. Minimal exceptions for holidays, political addresses, etc

    I like Elementary, glad to see it get 24 episodes. That is the regular order for NCIS and NCIS:LA and Criminal MInds also all shows I enjoy.
