    It'd be interesting if Merle turned on the Governor just because of his brother, it's the only thing I could see that would cause him to do that.


    And damn it Governor, I said don't harm Maggie and that includes psychologically!

    Merle lied to the governor about Michonne being dead, and when she shows up the governor will know that Merle lied. I don't imaging he reacts well to being lied to. That could be another factor that leads to Merle breaking from the governor.
