On the Dec. 6 episode of The Vampire Diaries, which includes a flashback to 1940s New Orleans, fans will see Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) dressed as World War II GIs. And, according to costume designer Leigh Leverett, the brothers also don some dapper old-school suits and ties.

    So in this episode we get a WWII flashback, Lexi returns, and Madeline Zima debuts as an old acquaintance (and possible past love interest) of Damon's. Seems good so far.
