    I'm definitely one of them.
    I just hope that it wasn’t just a tease that will be cut out at the end. You remember, like the "It's okay to love them both" from Rose in S2. They put it on the promo and then cut is out.
    And I hope it's not the last sec. of the ep. They had us waiting for years. They owe us!

    I don't think you have to worry about anything being cut out. What 'shippers should be worried about is the possibility that Elena will screw this up. I'm convinced that, within five episodes, Elena will do something to hurt Damon and ruin the whole situation entirely.

    Oh, someone definitely will screw up. Not necessarily Elena. I hope it's not Elena. And if she does screw this up, I hope she has damn good reasons.
