-lots of plots being introduced in the second half of the season that could set the show up for seasons to come
Jared- "There is something going on that we don’t find out about just yet, but [Castiel] certainly is back and with the boys. But it’s not the good old trio that it used to be. So there’s something that Sam and Dean have to kind of figure out, like 'What’s going on with Cas?'"
-no more Purgatory flashbacks for a while because there is too much going on topside with all the mysteries
-we're going to see more of Sam's story in the coming episodes
-The brotherly tension will be ramped up, Sam's story will play a part in that as well as what goes down in episode 9, but they will be talking/laying all their shit out there and dealing with it, the brothers are going to work on it
go to thewinchesterfamilybusiness.com and read the theories they have come with based on quite a few hints, Sam's normal life is deffinately not as simple as it seems theres a lot going on there
Martin was also there because he put himself there, he had a breakdown because of the hunting life that didnt actually make him crazy crazy, if anything Sam and Dean are more crazy than he was.
"Any hunter worth their salt wouldn't let a vampire run around." Uh Sam, did you forget about Lenora? Wasn't that you that orchestrated to let her whole nest run around uncensored. And a few weeks ago didn't you let a pure breed (or whatever) warewolf go?
It's a really nice call back as well. In the Pilot Dean told Sam he was doing a job in Louisiana and that was when he stopped being able to reach John. So it has been about 8 years since Dean's been to Louisiana.
It's wonderful to see such mature reactions from both of them. Sam followed his instincts and put Martin on an information-gathering-only mission. When he heard evidence of a problem, he confronted Dean directly with it rather than dealing with it behind Dean's back. Dean in turn responded well. The tricky part is going to come when they have to kill Benny, if that turns out to be necessary. Dean might still hoping here that Benny is innocent.
Sam is really awesome not just going after Martin but keeping an eye on him so that he only puts Benny down if he deserves it and then giving Dean the benefit of the doubtm trusting Dean to find out from Benny himself. I'm not sure how it will turn nout for Sam, given the shows track record probably not good, but at least he's doing the right thing, the mature thing.
Lenore didn't bite them in the ass, she ended up helping them kill Eve with her info. Eve compelled her to kill, by bringing direct force on her mind. That isn't really killing of her own free will.
I would be more worried about Martin, this may not end well for him and I like Martin. lol But you are correct in Sam seems to be doing the right thing and Dean did not go ballistic...yet.
That is what I think also, she is real, but the "life with her" is not. I love a story that makes me think and I don't figure it out half way thru an ep. SPN is great at this stuff.. Thanks writers. lol
Lenore never came back to "bite them in the ass". She was being forced to kill again by Eve and if it wasn't for Castiel interference she would still be alive since both Sam and Dean didn't want to kill her because they knew she never wanted to harm people again. They looked upset by her death.
This is the best preview so far. I like how there wasn't much sniping in this one. Let's hope the brother rift doesn't come back with a vengeance by the end of it.
At first Dean looks pissed, and as if he felt betrayed.... I wonder if he really means it [that they'll look into it] or if his loyalty toward Benny won't let him doubt his friend. This looks like it will be a good episode!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
..woow..last dialog rough answer .ouch,.OUCH.,ouch

Hey thanks for the info!!!Can't wait for this episode!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen Sam tells Dean they are going to Louisiana, Dean says: "It's been a while..."
ReplyDeleteCan someone tell me what he said? I didn't understand.
Did Dean forget that Sam hunted while he was having a psychotic break? Because that's way worse than Martin watching over Benny for Sam.
ReplyDeleteYup, I totally think the "Amelia isn't real" theory is going to come into play soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks, this is awesome!

ReplyDeleteseems like quite the important scene for a sneak peek.
ReplyDeleteWow. Dean is really, really awesome here, isn't he? I was impressed with his maturity in the last episode, and I'm impressed with it here, too.
ReplyDelete"It's been a while since I've had some etouffee." :)
ReplyDelete"Any hunter worth their salt wouldn't let a vampire run around." Uh Sam, did you forget about Lenora? Wasn't that you that orchestrated to let her whole nest run around uncensored.
ReplyDeleteAnd a few weeks ago didn't you let a pure breed (or whatever) warewolf go?
So true... TPTB isn't making too much sense canon wise, is it?
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how much I like this theory, but it that's the case, why would this revelation increase the tension between the brothers?
ReplyDeleteIt's a really nice call back as well. In the Pilot Dean told Sam he was doing a job in Louisiana and that was when he stopped being able to reach John. So it has been about 8 years since Dean's been to Louisiana.
ReplyDeleteThe boys could have gone to Louisiana, but we haven't seen those hunts and it'd still be awhile.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it would cause tension because there's other stuff causing tension between them.
ReplyDeleteYeah, but Jared said that the revelation about Sam's year off would ratchet up the tension between the brothers.
ReplyDeleteThanks. =)

ReplyDeleteHe is talking about one that's actually harming people.
ReplyDeleteLenora came back to bite them in the ass and Dean only let the Warewolf go because of the whole Benny thing.
ReplyDeleteLenore didn't bite them in the ass, she ended up helping them kill Eve with her info. Eve compelled her to kill, by bringing direct force on her mind. That isn't really killing of her own free will.
ReplyDeleteDean is being pragmatic about the situation. That's a good sign.
ReplyDeleteI would be more worried about Martin, this may not end well for him and I like Martin. lol But you are correct in Sam seems to be doing the right thing and Dean did not go ballistic...yet.
ReplyDeleteThe Werewolf was already gone when the guys found the movie, so they did not LET her go.
ReplyDeleteIsn't Louisiana where Dean put Benny back together?
ReplyDeleteThat is what I think also, she is real, but the "life with her" is not. I love a story that makes me think and I don't figure it out half way thru an ep. SPN is great at this stuff.. Thanks writers. lol
