  1. I'm having deja vu - Is this the same promo from earlier today? I think there's a few new scenes, though.

Either way, this looks fucking awesome and I cannot wait for it! I am loving this season so much.

  3. Who's up for a Crowley/Cas showdown? I am. That's who.

  5. god the way Cas screams Dean's name gives me chills... :-(

    (and that's one 's' btw!)

  6. This is pretty much what I've been waiting for all year. I know we couldn't have it last year with cuckoo Cas, but I can't fully express how excited I am to see it so close on the horizon.

  7. Aside from the Crowley/Cas showdown, I'm really excited to see what went down in Purgatory when Cas was left behind... and hopefully how he got out.

  8. It's got our first view of Amanda Tapping so I'm looking forward to that. It appears to be heading back to mythology and that's definitely the strong part of this season so far. Mostly though, if anyone can kick start this season it's Crowley. So bring him on. The more Crowley the better.

  9. " I'm hoping Death says he was just screwing with everyone and this whole season thus far has been him playing in his sandbox."

Death doesn't seem like the having fun type so let's say this entire season has been fabricated by a clinically depressed Djinn.

  10. "This is pretty much what I've been waiting for all year." There hasn't been much to look forward to so far so this meeting between Cas and Crowley may easily be the highlight of the season if it's done right.

  11. Very true. I suppose in my mind I wasn't just limiting the "year" to this season. I've kind of been looking forward to it since Cas screwed him over in the first place. Crowley's not exactly the type to forgive and forget, and I don't think he'd consider a showdown with crazy Cas a fair fight.

  12. Or how about a re-appearance of the Trickster who actually did not die in the fight with Lucifer but instead "got amnesia" - yeah they like that little trick - and now only remembers that the Winchesters tried to kill him. His "just deserts" punishment is making the brother relationship so miserable that death or Purgatory seems like a welcome alternative.

  13. And if you want to go all meta episode with it, Trickster is also punishing the audience. :)

  14. Ha! Now that I could very much believe. I think Ben Edlund needs to write this episode. Perhaps we should all send candy to Richard Speight, Jr. as atonement and to assure him we've been punished enough. He can tweet us when he's satisfied with our penance.

  15. Ha! I like it.

You know, I have the oddest reaction to seeing Richard Speight Jr. on TV now. Any time I see that guy on a commercial or a series the idea sticks in the back of my mind that it's all just an extension of his Trickster character and he's going to break the fourth wall and start talking to the camera at any moment.

  16. Me too. Especially that Pepsi Max commercial where he was wearing a version of the porn 'stache.

  17. You bet I am! Welcome back Cas \o/

  18. A lot of promise the chapter is going to be very exciting to see back to cass and we won't know if it is the cass of always or purgatory has changed

  19. I love their scenes together so much. Mark and Misha have great chemistry. I've been looking forward to a real confrontation between them since the end of season 7.

  20. Obligatory CAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!

I love the angle they're taking with his return, with Dean maybe/maybe not seeing things.

And OMG Dean's face when he says "I just don't understand why he didn't try harder." He's so hurt. It breaks my heart.

The confrontation between Cas and Crowley is going to be so good. I can't wait to meet Amanda Tapping's character. And it looks like Cas will finally get back into ass-kicking mode.

I'm so, so happy with this show right now.

  21. Couldn't have said it better myself... Welcome Back Cas!
Hoonestly, I've been waiting for this confrontation since Crowely realized Cas was still alive back in season 7....
I hope this episode is as good as it seems like its going to be!
The 14th can't come soon enough.

  22. I am so happy to see Cas and Crowley! Maybe Cas showing up will help us avoid as many tension and fights between brothers as possible.
At this point, I'll take anything to make me stop hating Sam. I don't like being angry with Sammy!

  23. Nice promo! I hope the episode is as good as it seems! You never know with these quick promos, but this one seems pretty epic!

  24. At this point I am looking forward to a Crowley - Death meeting. I'm hoping Death says he was just screwing with everyone and this whole season thus far has been him playing in his sandbox. He puts everyone back to normal and gives us important information about Crowley or the tablet. Actually Death and Crowley could just share a bag of Funyons and snark together and it would probably be my favorite scene of season 8 so far.

  25. I am so happy to see cas back in our world and then I hear in the ep after this one on the wed after thanksgiving cas will want to be a hunter like sam and dean can not wait to see how that goes to.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I think Crowley has got to get hurt. SOON. And badly. Love the guy's snark but maybe out little prophet guy can find something on one of those rocks that'll remove a leg or something. Crowley is associated with being a "cool" big bad. He's never really taken one in the "chick peas" as Dean would say. A

couple of close calls but I would like to see somebody put on a big old pair of demon boxing gloves and give him an old fashioned ass whoopin'.

Maybe that'll give the season a jump start.

Or we could bring Becky back and she can rub up against Crowley!

  27. I know it's not Sam's favorite strategy but, since they never seem to have a lot of trouble locating or summoning Crowley, I've never understood why Sam can't just juice up on a sh*tload of demon blood and pop the guy like a zit. It would be extremely simple to do. The detox would be a bitch but it would be worth it.

    ReplyDelete
  28. If he could even detox at all. Didn't god do it when he put them on the plane? But yes, that would be fun making Crowley hop around on one leg for two episodes. Give him two nostrils full of boogers and no index fingers to use.

Imagine the fun you could have! Demon Blood from the makers of Oxy Clean! Get the dude from the slap chop commercial to do a voice over narrative. WINNER!
