NUMB3RS and Rescue Me alum Diane Farr has landed a multi-episode arc on the final season of Private Practice, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

Farr will first appear in the Sheldon-centric Dec. 11 episode as Miranda, though details on her role are being kept under wraps. Considering she'll also appear in the series finale, we're guessing (and hoping) this means she'll form a bond with the unlucky-in-love psychiatrist.

  1. I'm guessing she's playing Sheldon's ex-wife.

    I still want Amelia/Sheldon, though!

  2. it looks like Matt Long's character is going to end up with Amelia, sad but Sheldon is a lot older then her, I honestly woudln't mind Violet and Sheldon actually now that Pete is gone, Sheldon really loved her before and said he would be open to kids.

  3. I really liked Sheldon/Charlotte, too, tbh, but it's all about Sheldon/Amelia for me now, honestly.

  4. I expect she will play his ex-wife too. I'm hoping that the relationship will fail again and Sheldon will end up with Amelia, who has been a good friend to him.

Don't like the new ER doc for her; even if he is about her age, she's right, she's too old for him emotionally. And he's too pushy and thinks he knows what she wants better than she does. Always a bad thing in a relationship.
