I found this season the toughest to choose just one, but went with the finale in the end, one reason being because of how much story it manages to cram into 40 mins.
Season 4 was the best for me, too. I love so many of the episodes. I voted for 'The Wicked Day' it was amazing, Still remember Colin's moving performance sitting at the door when Arthur came out (Have you been here all night?) A Servant of two masters was brilliant, too. The mixture of comedy and drama was superb. Still remember Arthur hiding his modesty behind that pillow and Gwen totally embarrassed. Merlin trying to kill Arthur unsucessfully was such a laugh and then there was the Morgana/Merlin fight- still the best one to date! I also love the double bill at the beginning and at the end. So hard choices here!
I wasn't really satisfied with any of the episodes...too much contrivances, too many repititon...Aithusa was the only one I felt added something to the show and promised some development....naturally, the promise was never fullfilled, but at least the potential was there.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Best for me: 4x03, 4x06 and the finale!

ReplyDeleteI voted for The Servant of Two Masters too, it had it all for me, comedy, drama, magic fight...
ReplyDeleteOthers I liked: Aithusa and the finale.
Unfortunately, this is the series when things started to get a bit repetitive, but all episodes were enjoyable for one reason or another.
