Katherine!!!!!! Yay!!! Finally she returns and looks like to help Elena in her hulucinations! Why is she getting them though? And im glad Damon is involved but i feel like with both of them keeping this secret stefan will be the one to tear away from Elena instead of Damon. O well looks good and i've been hoping for Damon and Elena to get together so hopefully thats soon

  2. i really didn't see it coming that connor will be killed so early! but i always knew that jer will get the tatoo someday, so i'm curious what will happen in the future ep's!!!!!

  3. Loved everything about this ep, except all the whining Elena was doing over killing Connor. Come on, even if she was not a vampire, he was trying to kill them...GROW A PAIR. She is really getting on my nerves.

  4. Where was Katherine? Her hallucinations must be werewolf venom again, Connor must have had it on his stakes so even if he misses he still kills them eventually.

  5. I am so tired of Elena and her whining about how she is miserable about being a vampire, girl needs to get over it and embrace it already. And what was up with her crying over killing Connor, he tried to kill her brother and her friends. Also I do not believe that nothing happened between Tyler and Haley. If something did happen between them I hope Caroline kicks his ass royally. Also why the hell is Bonnie so damn gullible, girl you do not need to trust that man. I can see her getting someone hurt just by talking to him and we all know that when that happens she does magic that she should not be doing that will cause more problems. Also I do not believe that Connor is dead, I mean it kind of happened way to easy and to fast. No way is he dead. There is more to the story of the 5. But may be he is dead since now Jeremy is getting the tattoo. Not sure where that storyline will go. Over all it was a good episode.

  6. So,apparently,Elena is feeling horrible about killing the man who was trying to kill her and her brother, but if Damon or Stefan had done the killing, she would have been okay with it??In order to be the hero, you have to get your hands dirty,Elena.
Team Tyler and Hayley.I love their plan to free the hybrids of the sire bond.
"I'm doing it for you,brother"-Damon...Aww,the Salvatores brothers are killing me...
Connor, you will be missed.Ripping the hybrid's heart out like that...awesome!If only someone had had that idea in s2 in order to kill Klaus and spare us the stupidity of Elena and the gang's plan.

  7. I thought her hallucinations were a result of killing the hunter.

  8. Isn't ripping Klaus heart out what Elijah was supposed to do and then he backed out?

  9. Is it just me or when Stefan told Damon about the cure, Damon looked like he really wanted it too? The guy never wanted to be a vampire in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yeah,but Connor's way was smart,Elijah's way was stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Damon wanted to become a vampire when he found out Katherine was one too.He kept begging her to turn him.The only reason he backed out was because he thought Katherine had died in the fire with the rest of the tomb vamps.

  12. Sorry I hadn't seen the promo yet =P Looking forward to Katherine and these hallucinations lol.

  13. Thought it was a solid episode. Was that hybrid guy wearing a red shirt =P? Like anyone thought he was going to survive haha. We need more Caroline! Elena killing that guy was pretty awesome though her freak out after with the grave was pretty awkward. The Damon Stefan scene was intense like was he really going to rip out his own brother's heart? I don't believe that. Glad that Jeremy is getting a legit story line (even if just like the last one only he can see his plot) but how long will it be till he tells someone?

  14. Pretty great episode, I thought, but damn... Elena was much whinier than usual. I get it, she killed someone... but she knew he was super dangerous. And he came after her brother... I mean really, I think she was justified.

My favorite line of the episode definitely goes to Damon, though, when he was talking to Stefan: "Is that where you've been all morning? Out buying bossy pants?"

  15. "I'm a vampire and I hate it" Would she prefer being a human and Klaus walking blood bag. I'd rather be a vampire (even if I hate it) that just to wait till this psycho shows up and threatens my friends again and tries to bleed me dry.
Stefan want's the cure to give Elena her life back? And what life would that be? Being Klaus prisoner (cause he sure as hell wouldn't let her out of his sight again), his blood bag and breeding machine (he has to ensure the next generation for the next doppelganger. And if that would mean to compel a guy to rape her he wouldn't hesitate).
Klaus would have never destroyed the sword. He wants the cure more that Stefan or Elena.
The fights were just awesome. Stefan vs Damon and Elena vs Connor.
Jeremy is ahunter? Shit! If JP means that the tats are sort of controlling the hunters it's a question of time till he tries to kill his friends and his sister.
Oh, for Christ sake Elena. Yes, you killed him. But he wasn't exactly innocent, was he? He wouldn’t have hesitated to kill you and all you love. Including innocents like Jeremy, Matt and April (again).

    ReplyDelete
  16. Well, it was her first kill. No wonder she has her problems. I'm not sure I would have any problems with it. As you said (so did I), he wasn't exactly innocent.
Free the hybrids? Yeah, till one of them betrays them. I support that. They just need to be careful.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Maybe it would be good if Elena turns off her humanity. For a while (the last think we need now is another Katerina). Would be something new to the show.
I don't get the whining over Connor either. He wouldn't hesitate killing innocents. And even
law allows you to kill to protect others from harm. She didn't even break the law.
Why should Bonnie trust the prof? He sent a hunter to kill her friends.
As strong and dedicated as these hunters are, they are human, right? And Jeremy was
marked. I think Connot is gone for good. But he was hot.

  18. Damon want's the cure for Elena. He knows she never wanted to be a vampire and that she is having a hard time adjusting. And unlike the books, in the show he accepts what she wants (he said so in ep1. Or was it 2?)

    ReplyDelete
  19. He wanted to be a vampire to be with Katerina, true. But he never showed any problems with him being a vampire (after he lost Katerine). He just enjoys it. He accepted it and makes the best out of it.
Why can't Elena. So you're dead. Suck it up.

..this episode was to fast to many things happen ,.very confusing

    ReplyDelete
  21. well Damon also didn't want to become a vampire but Stefan forced him to because he didn't want to loose his brother. Plus in 2x10 he said "I miss being human, I miss it! I miss it more than anything in the world!" So yea he might want it.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Actually that's what I was referring to, I just didn't remember in which episode he said it. He resented Stefan at first for making him drink. Although I'm sure that if only one person could have the cure, he would give it to Elena, if there was enough for more, I'm sure he would take it.

    ReplyDelete
  23. He didn't enjoy it until Sage came along. Stefan was the one who liked killing from the get-go. Damon did what he had to do, but resented that Stefan took away his choice (and killed the dad). All he wanted was Katherine.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yes, after he was turned he wanted to die, because of Katerina. Then Stefan made him to complete the transition he was all but happy about it. But he accepted it. He was miserable till Sage showed him how to enjoy his vampire life. Since then he enjoys it being a vampire. The hunting, the killing, his powers, …

I wouldn't say that Stefan liked to kill. He had no control over his bloodlust. He turned off his humanity and gave in to the bloodlust. And he didn't intentionally killed his dad. It was sort of an accident. He defended himself and had no idea of how strong he is. But he was going home to say goodbye, not to kill his dad.

    ReplyDelete
  25. He's accepted who he is, and he finds joy in life, but he's not all gun ho about being a vampire. Accepting who you've become and reveling in it are different things. Look at the scenes with Jeremy or with Rose--Damon doesn't *love* vampirism and he still blames Stefan for getting him into it (and for killing their dad, whether it was an accident or not).

    ReplyDelete
  26. Maybe he's not "all gun ho about being a vampire", as you put it. But if he's given the chance I doubt that he would take the cure. IF it even exists.

  27. I have long complained about that hero movie cliche where the 'big stwrong man' doesn't tell the ingenue what's going on and this ultimately leads to the ingenue running blindly into worse trouble. Granted the cliche generally goes "Stay here!" "Why?" "Just stay!" at which point the ingenue (completely unaware of the vital reason she should have stayed put) runs right into the villain's arms.

This is the kind of heros the brothers Salvatore brothers are...and just look what happened. I laughed hysterically when Elena snapped that hot hunter's neck. It was an unexpected moment but hysterical nonetheless.

Nice of Jeremy to give "Vampire Fodder of the Season" (AKA April, the reverend's daughter) his bracelet. But I wonder. What was his plan? He's not compellable as a hunter but he wasn't when he gave her the bracelet. Why hasn't anyone signed on to burpee.com to order vervain seeds?

So, now I'm expecting Klaus to find a way to bring in a line up of vampires for Jeremy to kill so he can grow his tattoo as soon as possible.

Pretty good episode but felt to me like they could have shortened the hostage sequence and added a bit more story.

LOVED the "I don't do teen drama. " line. Glad Tyler's not a cheater. But really, he could have had that conversation with Caroline a lot sooner. :-)

enjoyed the episode quite a lot.

  28. Elijah WAS stupid. To trust Klaus. How long does he know him 1000 years?
