    Ok wow vampire diaries writers im sorry to say this but U SUCK! this is the biggest mistake they've made!! shes sired to damon!??!??! Common! cant u just let her grow to like her like a normal person/vampire and when she became a vamp it was better to think she was just doubled in her love for him by the vampirism! WTF of all the things! As caroline said this is a rare thing and out of all things and all vamps it has to be elena...of course... Idk i just dont like this idea i mean im a delena fan and this pisses me off its like all the love shes gained for him has been ruined by this. I like they finally had sex but its more for damon then it is for elena. Elena doesnt have to be sired seriously no other vampire on this show has been if anything the vamp's who r turned by other vamps blood just listen to them more sure but not this! ANyways i liked jeremys growing hunter side its exciting, caroline and klaus r good, tyler and haley eh i dont care to much really, and stefan was good in this as well as matt.

    I know it was the perfect scene ruined by dumb Caroline and handsome Stefan.
    I love Stefan cause he's a hottie but Caroline's voice over the passion of DELENA... aggravated me. Plec is killing me I swear.


    And I'm with you on this one... out of all history of vampires it JUST HAD TO be Elena.

    It reminded me a bit of the books in that she ended up with Damon only after she turned into a vampire and he was teaching her the vampire ways. Then she went back to Stefan later. I've only read the original 4 books. And it's been a while so that's about all I remember besides that fact she had a sister in the books and she unrealistically fell in love with Stefan like 5 minutes after she found out he was a vampire.

    I know a lot of people are mad that the writers are taking the Elena/Damon situation as a sire bond and not real, and you know what I love it. I so do not want them together. Stefan and Elena belong together. Now the only question is what is needed to break the bond? I am sure Klaus knows what is needed and will make the group do something they will now want to do. Now on to this professor guy, can't quite put my finger on what he is up to and why is Tyler's little friend helping him, I think that storyline will be interesting. Also the writers better not actually break up Caroline and Tyler and make her have feelings for Klaus. The whole Jeremy thing is going exactly the way I thought it would and I love it. Still not sure Matt's role in the show anymore. I know they are trying to make him like the human conscience but to me it is just now working, he just seems so out of place. They really need to write a better story for Matt. Also no Bonnie this episode. I hope she comes back finds out the professor guy is bad and well gets back to her witchy ways. Over all a good episode. Also..... I DO NOT WANT DAMON/ELENA TOGETHER!!!

    Elena is sired to Damon? That is so stupid. If that is true it basically makes all her feelings and actions with him void and he's going to feel like crap. MOST STUPID IDEA EVER. Caroline needs to tone down her hatred towards Damon "when has he ever been right" ummm....Damon is normally right approx. 99.95% of the time, no one usually listens to him and then everyone dies. I did love all the klaus/caroline scenes though, they're super sweet. Tyler needs to back off.

    Of course it has to be sirebond, because otherwise would be everything perfect and the creators hate the perfection between two of them. I´m sooooo angry right now. Elena should better realize that she loves him anyways!!! They can´t be so cruel to Delena fans, can they?

    Elena is sired? Well, that's stupid. But I don't think her feelings for Damon are only based on that, I mean, do you guys remember episode 19 of last season? If it wasn't for Jeremy, I bet Damon and Elena would have done something way beyond kissing.

    That sired Bullshit was the last straw, I'm done with shipping Damon/Elena and constantly getting kicked in the nuts. Bring on Damon/Bonnie.



    And Caroline has gone from the best character in season 2 to the worst character in season 4, she is so annoying with her judgments about Elena/Damon yet she is getting all lovey dovey with literally the worst and biggest mass murdering psycho in history.

    That's right Stefan. Turn a psycho murderer into a vampire. Maybe you get lucky and the next one escapes. Oh, jeah, and keep on pushing Jeremy into hunting and then send him home to his sister that is also a vampire. Not like anything bad could happen.
    Keep Elena human so Klaus can make more hybrids. Congratulations Stefan, you finally got
    it. Now you'll just need another month or so to come to the conclusion that Klaus won't let her go after she's human again. That he won't let her ride into sunset with one of the Salvatore brothers.
    I just loved Elenas dress. The dance brought back memories of S1. I just love to see Damon and Elena dance. Glad they finally got all hot and heavy. About time. I was so glad they didn't cut it out.
    "Pick a room"? Like he doesn't already know she'll probably stay at Damons.
    Shane working with Hayley? Not see that one coming. And I'm not glad about it. We still don't have the clue what this guy is up to.
    I'm glad Matt is trying to help Jeremy. But seriously. If Jer freaks out, how could poor Matt possibly keep him under control?
    And one more thing: Why was Caroline so prickly about Elena having feelings for Damon? Did
    she forget who HER date was? The psychopath responsible for more than half of the corpses in MF (the council blow-not not counting). Why giving her a hard time? Even at his worst Damon couldn't keep up with Klaus.
    Congratulations. Klaus almost got me. When he was having fun with Caroline, for a second he
    almost make me believe that there could be more to him. Still not really buying it.
    How can Elena be sired by Damon? I got the principle why the hybrids were sired to Klaus. But Elena? She never wanted it. And if it has something to do with her feelings for him? So … How are they gonna break the sire bond between Elena and Damon? Breaking all her bones probably won't help.

    Agree. This sire bond thing is weird. I mean, what are they gonna do? Keep them away from each other? Break every bone in her body hundred times to break the bond?
    I mean I got the concept why the hybrids are sired by Klaus. They are sort of happy they
    don't have to turn every full moon. So turning several times breaks the bond.
    But Elena? She's not grateful. She never wanted this. Maybe it has something to do with her feelings. She never said it, but she loved him before she turned.

    Oh, please. Even without the sire bond it would be everything BUT perfect.
    She still has feelings for Stefan, like he still has feelings for her. That would always be between her and Damon. And her seeing Stefan every day wouldn't help with that problem.
    Besides everybody would give her a hard time over this. Don't forget that, although they all work together perfectly, Damon isn't Mr. Popular among Elenas friends. After what he did to Caroline, and Bonnies mother and grams, and he killed Jeremy, …

    Agree on Caroline. But not for the same reasons. She turned amazing since she died. No denying in that. And I do understand she's not a Damon fan. Don't forget what he did to her. He compelled her, fed on her, raped her, used her and treated her like shit. I could rip her head off, cause she gets close to Klaus now. I mean, what the fuck?!? Did she forget what Klaus did? Killed, turned and sired her boyfriend, threatened all her friends, almost got her killed (by her own boyfriend), killed innocents for fun, …

    Honey, I remember their dance from S1. It was already clear then. The chemistry and attraction was so strong between them, I thought they would make out right there in front
    of everybody.
    So, she doesn’t love him because she's sired to him. But maybe her feelings for him were the trigger for the sire bond.
    But I don’t know. If that was the trigger, every vampire that was turned by the person/vampire he/she loves would be sired.
    You think she would have slept with Damon in S3? I have my doubts. Stefan was too present back there. Or maybe they would. It got close.

    Shane has some plans with Klaus. That is why he wants the sire bond broken. To kill Klaus? Well, without his army he is alone. And since he sent the hunter to MF he has no
    problems killing vampires. Maybe he wants to kill the originals. Just a theory.
    Or he wants the map. Hunters have to kill to complete it. He wants the map to get what is
    hidden. But then, why freeing the hybrids form Klaus? Makes no sense except he wants Klaus to be vulnerable and alone.
    Hey, relax. Stefan and Elena had 3 seasons (make it 2'5, since he was ripper half of S3), give Damon the rest of this season. I have the feeling she'll be with Stefan again by S5.

    Of course Caroline has her problems with Damon. Remember what he did to her in S1? She may not hold any grudges against him (I admire that about her), but she has doubts
    that he is good for her friend.

    What did I think? Caroline justifying Stefan's action, like turning Jeremy into a killing machine (and don't forget if it was the other way around, meaning Damon doing it, all hell would break loose) and again being Stefan and "fixing" what's NOT wrong with her. Why do you call yourself a best friend if you can't accept your best friend for who she really is now? I didn't get that.

    Also, the sire bond thing... Elena was in love with Damon long before she turned vampire. And you know what? She finally stands for herself, calling people on their BS. She's fun. Maybe some actions may be a result of a bond between them, but definitely not what they feel for each other.

    I know what this "twist" is there for, but drag it for too long and it will do more harm than good.

    This sire bond thing is the stupidest thing i've ever heard. I'm soo mad at the writers for ruining this for us. Delena finally makes love and then they have Caroline & Stefan completly ruin it. Also I've never been so disapointed in Caroline, I know she's never liked Damon, but this was just at a whole new level. How dare she judge Elena, when she was on a date with Klaus

    I loved it, even had a kind feeling for Klaus, in fact this whole ep was WOW, Damn, Crap, so much going on. I don't mind the bond, this will prove to be interesting story line, I think. Glad to see Jer being used more and finally Matt is not such a wall flower. Need to watch again with CC turned on to make sure I did not miss anything. ;)

    Sorry but on this one, they killed it (in the good way!)...Elena sired to Damon ! I'm sorry but it kind makes sense. The sire bond between a maker and his/her progeny always existed so why not now? Plus I can't agree more with Caroline "Damn and Elena : Ugh !"
    Personnally, those two ruined it by dating in the real life so it makes it "redundant" !
    Caroline & Stefan are right. Klaus deserves happiness (yes I LOVE HIM !) and this bromance between Matt & Jer : brilliant ! Great great episode !

    Ok am I the only one thinking that they exagerated this all "Elena does everything Damon tells her to do" in this episode ? Because I remember Damon saying her not to go after Connor and she was still determined to go to "protect her brother". Now Damon says "I like the red one" and Elena obeys like a soldier when two episodes ago she was still fighting him to do what she wanted ? I'm pissed because they are minimizing the relationship between Delena but they are not even making it seem plausible ! This all sire bond is really coming form nowhere and I admit that it could be a good twist if they accept to say that Elena's feelings don't come from this (like we all knew) and if they don't contradict themselves !

    Caroline annoys me by being all judgy, she was like Bonnie (that strangely I miss in this episode) but then it occures to me that when she was talking about Elena having something wrong, she looked like she was talking about herself and her attitude towards Klaus. So maybe she was just focusing on Elena to ignore her own feelings.
    Matt and Jer have a great dynamic and I look forward to see what's going to heppen to them/
    I never liked this Hayley, she proves me right. And Tyler is really clueless sometimes.
    Klaus didn't sound charming at all like in the previous seasons, all his behaviour seemed fake. And Stefan being on edge is something I really like but then they ruined it by making him all loving with Elena : just get over it !
    I'm so sad for Damon because he's never gonna get anything easily, NEVER ! But yay because Delena finally did it and even if all the Caroline/Stefan in between annoyed me, my Delena heart was satisified and I hope that we're gonna have more scenes like that (please a morning after !)

    Let's not forget the sire bond is an assumption. Elena stayed with Stefan when she turned, and so it seems odd that she could be sired to Damon. Also, Damon rebuffed her that day in her bedroom, and told her about Stefan trying to find a cure for her, and yet she still chose to break up with him. As for Stefan, he doesn't love her unconditionally, obviously. What happens if she never gets the cure? She would never be enough for him if she stayed a vampire. Damon deserves her b/c he loves her regardless. I also agree that it is sad that they will make it look like Elena's feelings aren't genuine. Poor Damon, can he ever catch a break? Plus, even if she is sired and they break it, she will hate Stefan for turning Jeremy into a psycho during the process.

    am i the only one who got the feeling that the reason Stephen and Caroline brought up or "realized" the sire thing was because they were looking for an excuse/grasping at straws as to why Elena would be with Damon? i just think there are too many instances/loopholes in the theory for it to hold any kind of liquid.

    also, for the ones they brought up, the dress and Jeremy, it seemed to me more like someone who was a bit nervous about the feeling she was having (as she did before about Damon) and being around/telling that person. and haven't we all been the person who when starting a new romance go "oh, he/she likes the red i'll wear that for them" because we are trying to impress them etc...

    maybe it was just me but i kind of took it that way. now, if they further play up the sire thing, i.e. make it real, and don't crush Stephen and Caroline with what we came to believe is the truth i might just chuck this show in the bin.

    old eps.
    In ep2 when he tells her to "Pick your meal" she doesn't. And in the washroom he had to said twice to make her drink his blood. And when he said they have to find out who this hunter is, she didn't agree or said anything. Neither was she possessed with research. And remember the "Stop with the pity party" in ep 4? She still feels sorry for her, is all depressed and whining. At the beginning of ep 5 she was arguing with Damon. About her being ashamed about what happened at the party, than the fight if she should go into the tunnel or the grill.
    Makes me doubt that there is a bond.
    But in ep 2 he also said "Vampires eat people" and she can't keep anything else down.
    In ep 5 Damon told her she has to get close and kill Connor. And when she was burying
    him, she said that he told her to kill him and she did. But after he tried to stake her. She bit him and told him to stay away from Jer. But I think she would have let him go. I think, she killed him, because he tried to stake her.
    Agree on Caroline. She gives Elena and Damon a hard time over their feelings. Hallo?!? And who was her date to the party? The father god of all psychos. And everybody should be okay with that? Including Elena that went thru hell because of him over and over again? Caroline: Get serious

    In S3 they said that a sire bond is extremely rare. It's not a rule.
    Sorry, you probably mixed up names. Did you said KLAUS deserves happiness? Have you completely lost your mind?!? WHAT exactly did Klaus do to deserve happiness? Killed his mother and his father? Or hunted and daggered his siblings and locked them in a coffin for centuries? Or were it the (probably) millions of people (innocent people) he tortured and killed for fun over the last millennium? Or, no, maybe it's because he was always so "good" to Elena and her friends. You know, killing Jenna, turning Ty, killing her classmates just because he could, compelling her boyfriend to turn off his humanity and kill her, forcing Tyler into bite (and kill) the girl he loves, …
    The only thing this fucker deserves is a fucking atomic bomb blowing up in his ass. Even if it wouldn't kill him, it would be fun to watch. Cause I'm not buying his "I'm a sweet teddy bear I just need to be loved" shit he performs for Caroline for a second.

    True. It was nice to watch them getting closer while he tried to help her to adjust.

    And I think Caroline is a natural. Since that first day she never slipped and lost control. She never killed, except to protect her and others. And she never had a hard time being a vampire. You know, besides her fear of her mother finding out and hating her for what she became. And her last birthday.

    I'm not a huge fan of the triangle (Elena, Stefan and Damon) I love the character of Damon, but the love triangle isn't a favorite element of this show for me. I was so-so on the episode until they came up with the 'sire' idea. It lets them out of several corners they walked Elena into, with regard to her being a vampire. I never read the books....who did Elena pick in the books? Just curious. Seems like the show runners are not Elena/Damon fans.


    Am really liking Matt this season...or rather I like Matt, Jeremy's best friend. Caroline as usual is a bright shiny spot of the series. Why is April there?
