for me, definitely one of the funnier eps in a long time... obviously the Pete/Erin setup is starting to take hold... which is ok, as I wasn't all that crazy about Andy/Erin lately and they've pretty much made Andy unlikable this season...
Pete was actually interesting and funny this episode, wasn't expecting that. Good on him. And I liked Stanley and Phyllis messing with Jim cause they were going to cover for him.
Best episode in a long time! Rainn and Angela really stretched their legs with this one. The laughs between those two were endless. Even the subplots with Pam and the complaint cards and Jim taking Phyllis and Stanley to lunch were a riot. I shudder to think that the episodes are getting better without Andy. Not Ed Helms, Andy. Ed Helms is a wonderful, versatile, and hilarious actor. I just think he got stuck with a terrible character. Andy isn't much more than annoying distraction, and honestly I'm glad to see Erin drifting away from him and toward Pete.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteNow if all Office eps could be that good then we could have a very solid final season, no Andy is making it a lot funnier and nicer to watch.
