Holy shit that ending. I literally gasped when Tommy shot Nathan. And I gasped at the fact that Audrey is technically a mom (Although I did once write a fic where Duke was Lucy's son, and now that's just squicky)
So glad Audrey stopped anything before it could go too far with Duke.
I need next week's episode in my life! I loved the promo.
It's a good thing Audrey stopped things. She didn't pull away from Nathan because she wanted to hurt him, she pulled away because she didn't want to hurt him even more if she disappeared. Her sleeping with Duke would have hurt him a lot and she knows that. I like Audrey and Duke a lot better as friends.
Both Colorado kid & Bolt Gun killer reveals, plus a hot Audrey/Duke moment, and above all Claudia Black guest starring, all in one episode! I was so excited to see Claudia again, even though she was grossly underused and she sounded odd without her usual accent. Still, an awesome episode, can't wait to see next week's! :)

I was thinking past lives, but I had no idea Duke was going back in time. Hadn't heard that spoiler. So it could definitely be a possibility now that I know that.
Spoiler for episode 9 the back in time episode -Nathan goes back in time to save Duke and to set things right in the present .The writers have said that this is a big Nathan and Audrey episode .
I think the writing has simply gotten better this season. Loved the way Audrey handled walking out on Duke. '20 days is not enough time to fix our friendship if I screw this up.' really hard to be angry with someone after that line!
Can someone help me with the timing of how Tommy was supposed to have killed he guy in the car? Or is that something we simply don't know yet? I know we haven't gotten details on why the guy tried to kill him in his first episode.
I loved seeing Claudia Black. This character was completely different than anything I've seen her play...both walking and talking differently. Though the choice she made for the character had me convinced that she was mentally challenged for quite a while. :-)
Apparently I've watched to many zombie movies this month. I kept waiting for the resurrected people to have a personality change or start eating their loved ones or something.
I did NOT expect that ending. The out has been set up too thoroughly so I'm not really worried about his survival, but it was very unexpected, across the board. Not happy about the making of Tommy into a villain, for a few reasons, but as a twist to the story...it worked.
it's virtually IMPOSSIBLE. People really need to drop the idea of Duke/Audrey because it's not happening. There will be no DA sex, Sam Ernst basically confirmed it in my freaked out tweet LOL. I'm betting either Nathan or some random dude.
Literally 100% convinced it's Nathan since he and Duke go back in time based on spoilers for 3.09. (Can't figure out why Nathan would have sex with Sarah, though.)
Thank you! YES! Their relationship is more like big sister little brother and I do like Duke and I hope he finds someone but I cannot get over how this attraction also has to do with pissing off Nathan whom he has envied and bullied through the years. Nathan and Audrey are epic, I do hope the writers stop pushing the Duke Audrey thing.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI loved this episode. Season 3 of "Haven" has just rocked!
ReplyDeleteAwww, I wish Audrey and Duke had gone all the way :(

I think it's more likely that Duke is the father of Lucy's son.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Nathan, tbh.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite impossible unless Nathan goes back in time, which is unlikely because Duke is going to do that instead in a couple episodes.

ReplyDeleteYup, I just saw that myself, so I'm going with my Nathan is the father of Sarah/Lucy/Audrey's baby!
ReplyDeleteOne of the best episodes of the entire series.
ReplyDeleteI don't think this show could possibly get any better. Any news on a season 4..?

ReplyDeleteAgreed! Enough with the Duke Audrey insanity!

ReplyDeleteDuke's hair, slicked back and wet. It's a very good look for him!
