  2. A dark episode for Nick. Very interesting that you couldn't tell where the case was leading at the beginning.
Almost believed it was Nick killing the wesen.
Did not see that ending coming.
    Nicely done.

    Extremely predictable.

  4. Well done, although pretty obvious that the intern/squintern was going to be the pseudo Grimm, although I thought they might run this story for another ep, but am fine that they tied it up in one. I liked that Nick continues to try to fight the old perception of past Grimms to not be associated with that perception, even cooler was Nick proving again to Hank that he isn't one of those old style Grimms as well... Loved seeing Bud the beaver again as he was hilarious... Not liking the Renard creepin on Juliette, but it's only going to get worse and this was a perfect plan from Adalind to get revenege not only on Nick, but Renard as well... I wonder if Juliette will be visiting the older latina (witch?) she met in last weeks ep anytime soon...

  5. Predictable except for the intern being a Wesen.

I disagree. After Nick talked to the mother and she said something along the lines of "He doesn't want to be like us," I kinda figured he had to be Wessen. The other clue was why didn't the second victim go berserk at being released by a grimm.

Though there were some very formulaic element it was a good episode.

  7. I think pretty much everyone on this board predicted that the intern was gonna be some kind of a bad guy the day he showed up. Personally, for me, it wasn't just the fact that the character was a little too giddy when he met Hank and Nick it was my casting cheat. Actors I've seen a lot before in thankless parts...are never innocent "color" characters. :-) I wondered if the killer was Wessen, when Nick got the second phone call. I was certain when his mother said the line about him not wanting to be what they were. I actually think it was a nice touch to have him be a Wessen.

But this was one of those times where guessing the answer wasn't the point of my enjoyment. I loved the ep. The character stuff was great. Hank had his partner's back straight down the line. Not even Renard thought for a moment that Nick was guilty. Bud was awesome. In the face of the panicking lodge he remained loyal to Nick. Even when his life was being threatened he was awesome. I loved that, even terrified, he babbled furiously. "If you think I'm gonna stop screaming while you're doing that...you're crazy." bwahaha.

Sgt. Wu gets the best lines... the psych evaluation line was great.

I remain annoyed with the Renard/Juliette obsession story. I hope the pay off is awesome. Am I nuts in thinking that house looks too big to have only one bedroom?

  8. Agreed: the Renard/Juliette better have a huge pay off, because I'm hating it!!!!!!!
And what's up with the house... I've been wondering about the one bedroom for some time now... very weird.

  9. I hope the Renard/Juliette obsession nonsense stops real soon. It is just bad.

  10. Well, it won't be next week. Have you seen the promo?

  11. This show really needs more Sgt. Wu. He's fantastic haha... and I'm really tired of this Juliette/Renard thing now. I wonder how long they're going to drag it out?

  12. Why couldn't Nick see the intern was a wesen?

  13. Somebody really likes the Juliette/Renard stuff...and is apparently seeking justice for their preferred pairing by "arrowing down" everybody who dislikes it. HA! Funny...

  14. I agree. I'm not a fan of this storyline either. And it's dragging out way too long now. I hope it ends soon. (Btw, who's been clicking "arrow down" on these Juliette/Renard comments? It's not they're an actual couple. It's all potion-related. Just because one person likes it, they can't seem to handle others disliking a storyline. Weird...and oddly funny...HAHAHA!)

  15. This was a really interesting episode.

BUD - Bud is so darn cute! I love how loyal he is, and what a good friend he tries to be to Nick. It's so adorable how he talks (saying "trust" so many times throughout his talk with Nick at the police station). I also think his mannerisms are a great match with this beaver character too. And my gosh, when he went full-body beaver while being held up by the fake Grimm, he was the most adorable thing! I hope to see Bud keep popping up in future episodes, hopefully not being in danger.

GRIMM - I liked the character development, especially for Nick & what it means to really be a Grimm, at least to him. I liked how they showed that through the Grimm-wannabe gross-looking wesen. A psych eval for all those working in the police dept should be a necessity. (Good line though, Sgt. Wu.)

  16. Hahaha, you are so right. The down clicking is pretty weird/funny...I guess there are all kinds of craza shippers :P
