Horrible episode, once again this season retconning everything that happened in s4 and season 5 as if what happened to the characters meant NOTHING. This show is a joke, because not everyone wants couples together who were together in s1! People grow and change but apparently this stupid ass show does not.
my opinion, I didn't say anyone else had to agree. I've been watching since day 1, what I enjoyed back in s1-3 I don't now, what I wanted as a fan, I don't want now either. s4 drew me back in as a gossip girl fan, and I enjoyed it once again like I did in s1.
I only expressed my own opinion, as I stated above I have been watching since the start. It's not about who and what I ship either, this about the characters.
It was SO good to see Eleanor back. I think she's always been my favorite parent... sorry, Rufus. Nothing else was too incredibly remarkable. I suppose fans of Dan and Serena may have been happy with some of the movement in the episode, but I couldn't care less about the show's relationships at this point, so I wasn't one of them haha...
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Worst episode of season? Possibly. Hated everything about it, basically. Except Nate.

ReplyDeleteLearn what retcon means. A character developing in a different way than your Tumblr page likes for Two Seasons is not retroactive continuity.
ReplyDeleteNot a Dair or Chair fan or whatever. Just saying.

ReplyDeleteI was actually talking to WEDDING RINGS. I would be inclined to agree with you overall.
ReplyDeleteI used to like Rufus but he's become such a creeper!
ReplyDeleteI know! I hate how they've destroyed his character... he never would have been this vindictive when the show started.
