I really liked the ep. But what was that with Martha touching Jim's face? It was kinda weird, I mean it's nice that they are getting along (though, maybe Martha is just pretending for the sake of Castle) but, I hope they don't get along too much, like hooking up, that'd be really weird, imo.
Whoa! That final twist was one I did not expect at all! It was really interesting to get to relive the bickering Castle and Beckett dynamics from Season One again and confirm that the spark is as alive as ever!
And can I just say that Stana look ridiculously stunning at dinner? What a beautiful woman!
Caskett had to see that they were getting along but without having them speak. Nah there is no hook up mention here, although it would be cool if JB got a gf and Kate got all weird about it. Her and Alexis could have some conversation.
Quite simply, I adored this episode from start to finish. The combination of suspense, awesome twists, and completely adorable caskett AND family moments is sending this one straight to the 'favorites' column. Simply fantastic! I look forward to many, MANY more viewings.
Loved it! Great to see the "old" formula back:) Loved the Caskett moments, the parents moments, Ryan and Espo, the twist (took me by surprise), but there were 2 moments I particulary enjoyed, and believe it or not, both with Gates... 1 - when she kept refering to Beckett AND Castle as her people (how much would Castle love to ear it?):) 2 - when, after talking to Martha and Jim, she said to Espo that she didn´t want to tell them they had lost their kids...like an irresponsible nanny or something, lol:)
Awesome is an understatement. This episode was wonderful - from the beginning to the end. There were loving, frightening, stressing ... moments. Caskett moments ... omg these two will definitely be the death of me this season : the kiss, the hug. And Kate was so badass in this ep, more than in any other this season. Stana definitely deserves an award. Seriously guys open your eyes and focus on her performances. She deserves more recognition. She's an extraordinary actress. And what I love in this ep and season is the combination of funny, love and action moments. Now I'm all excited to watch 'Secret Santa' but why is there a week of wait? and then the Christmas hiatus! How am I gonna survive this period? Will the reruns be enough? They should make a 'special caskett spin-off' during the hiatus.
I totally agree about Gates. She was brilliant, as she was during Probable Cause. She's really come to think of Castle as one of her people now and I love that. I really do love Gates though.. Just something about her that makes me think she knows more than she's letting on.
i know everyone loves from where they live and from where they were born here in US and all over the world......BUT...i was born and raised in NYC, where Castle is based and have lived in the Bronx all my life and know every street here....and there is no place like that in the Bronx where Caskett wound up stuck in....i found it very offending to show such a dark dangerous area in the Bronx, where there isnt any....sorry to vent but i Love my Bronx...☺...
I don't know how this episode works, but it does! This was a really interesting episode. I kind of figured out the twist long before they revealed it, but I liked the whole 'running around the neighborhood completely cut off from everyone else' thing. These guys come up with the coolest ideas.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeletePerfect Episode! We had it all! Fun, a little bit of Caskett Romance at the end with the hug, and the case was entertaining! Great!!
ReplyDeleteAnd Esposito and Ryan were great as always with the nun end everything.
Also, "Dude, where is your care" ;-))) I bet that was all Nathan Fillion there ;-))
Always stunning.
ReplyDeleteI think Martha was touching his face to say "thankyou" for the advice. It wouldn't be anything more.
ReplyDeleteI just got the impression that was acting out one of her scenes.
ReplyDeleteThey need a 'Friggin Awesome' button
ReplyDeleteThey won't hook them up ... it would be too weird and those two are WAY to different to be together.
