Can Leonard and Penny please just break up already? This episode highlighted why they don't belong together. He didn't respect her or her privacy. Writing the paper for her was wrong and crossed the line.
Meanwhile, LOL at Raj's American accent and Sheldon's friendship with Stephen Hawking.
As usual Sheldon is a fool!!! Penny making fun of Leonard is always funny. Raj plaing just dance w/o his shirt super funny. Not as funny as his american accent lmao
After all the yelling and screaming about how worthless Penny's character became after she broke up with Leonard the first time (mostly by fans who also hate Amy and Bernadette), they're not going to break them up for a long time, particularly since they've only been back together for half of a season.
Getting tired of Penny and Leonard's crap, it isn't getting any funnier unlike Shamy so please, just break them up. I feel like Penny's slowly being suffocated and squeezed of life from L
Penny is such a bitch she won't accept Leonard help because of her unwarranted ego but is perfectly fine with bullying Amy and Bernie into doing her work. And then she lid to Leonard to make him feel bad even though he was right all along and was going to help her barbecues he cared. Leonard deserves better.
I would have been much happier if Penny had rewritten that paper on her own. Ugh! It just ruined the punchline of the episode for me. (almost as bad as ruining the whole point of 2 Broke Girls by bringing in cake mix....so glad they seem to have omitted that episode from the cannon. but I digress... )
You're so right. How dare Leonard think that being in a relationship means being supportive of his girlfriend's attempt to broaden her horizons.
I mean, who knew that a boyfriend's real purpose is to never share his thoughts, feelings, aspirations, and whenever she wants to keep something from him he should just shutup and not be curious about her life at all. Moreover, he's not allowed to overreact, help her out with ANYTHING, suggest any ideas about their relationship whatsoever, make mistakes, say stupid things when he doesn't mean to, or just generally do anything that includes actually being in a relationship with a woman who sees the world differently than he does. From what I've gathered over the course of the show, and all of your complaints about them, Leonard should be a carbon copy of all Penny's ex-boyfriends.
He rewrote her entire paper. He can be supportive of her, but that was wrong. (And yes, Penny asking Amy and Bernadette for help was wrong too, but that's beside the point.) She didn't tell him for a reason.
Damnit, I had those whole response typed up and then Firefox crashed. -_-
Maybe I can shorten it a bit. Penny keeps setting Leonard up for doing something stupid. If she had told him right there at the beginning that this is something she wanted to do on her own then I have no doubt that Leonard wouldn't have messed with her paper. Instead, she kept it quiet and when she finally did reveal that she was returning to school, she became passive aggressive.
I won't deny that what Leonard did was wrong, because it was, but Penny is a HORRIBLE communicator. Can you imagine how many of their problems could be solved if she actually had one meaningful conversation with him? If she took just ten minutes to explain her doubts to Leonard, he would do anything to try and allay those doubts.
But instead, he does things out of ignorance. How is it his fault when he does something stupid in relation to a problem that Penny has that she won't tell him about? Anyone who has been in a successful relationship will tell you that communication is key to making one work. Penny doesn't seem to understand that, and Leonard keeps doing stuff she doesn't like because she refuses to talk to him about it.
You put way too much of the blame on Leonard, when 90% of the stuff he does is out of non-willful ignorance that only exists because of Penny.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
