This is gonna be so good! Regina not only actually seems worried about David and the look on her face when Rumple tells her it could be Cora that come through...she is truly terrified at the idea of it? I get the feeling that when Regina sent Cora through that looking glass that wasn't the last time they saw each other.
I want to know if Rumple's magic isn't what it used to be in FTL and that's why he's suddenly concerned. Regina I understand, Cora's power over her is emotional as well as physical. But with Rumple, he might have been able to take her in the old world but if she comes through still imbued with her magic in the same way as before whereas they've had their magic stripped and reinstated, it makes me wonder if that has changed it.
They've always had a cool dynamic, imo, from their very first scene together in 1x06.
But it's not a new ship. :P And unlike the majority of ships in this fandom, it's not solely fan-created. The writers (and actors) themselves have toyed around with the idea that Regina may have genuine feelings for David.
I think you're right and that's probably the case. I recall him saying Magic is "unpredictable" in TLWM, so it stands to reason he doesn't have the same control/understanding of how to use it now...
As far as I remember, in the fairytales the Queen was jealous of Snow White's beauty. I guess on Once they're trying to interpret that not so much as vanity, but in a more general sense jealousy that Snow would get to live the life that Regina had always wanted - to be free to be herself, to have a family with her one true love.
Anyway, I'm always thrilled to see Lana and Josh in the same scene! :)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Aw....poor Charming!
ReplyDeleteDoes Emma must have confidence in Aurora? hummmm
I really hope they're not duped by puppet Aurora.
ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to "I can handle Cora", Rumple? Regina and Rumple so do not want to come to face with her again. This is gonna be interesting.
ReplyDeleteYep, and it was Rumple who suggested they had to do something about it, not even Regina. This is getting more interesting by the minute.
ReplyDeleteI love how Regina seems even a little worried for David!!!

ReplyDeleteI love new, caring Regina. She's dropping the whole evil queen act and returning to her natural self. You go, Regina!
ReplyDeleteOf course! Rumple mentioned, that she saw her dead body in episode 2x08.
ReplyDeleteI love that Regina is becoming less evil!
ReplyDeleteMore Regina/David... ♥

ReplyDeleteI really like their scenes. They have an unexpectedly cool dynamic:)
ReplyDelete(Just NO new ship please, cause I'm pretty sure the limit of the ridiculous ones has already been crossed)

ReplyDeleteWell, there was something about that in the fairytales, right? Don't really remember the details.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, as I said before, glad they got to have more scenes this season, cause they're always interesting;)
