he Star Wars actor will play himself on an episode of ABC’s Modern Family, EW has learned. In the episode, titled “New Year’s Eve,” Jay (Ed O’Neill) crosses paths with Williams over a game of cards during a family holiday trip to Palm Springs.

In the following episode, Nathan Lane will return as Pepper, the highly colorful friend of Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet). They meet up with Pepper on the golf course.
