Thanks to moonwisemama for the heads up.

  1. Well, that was a disaster for everyone involved. I'd say Renard is probably confused at this point.

  2. Yep! Here he was thinking that he was doing the right thing and getting help with a cure, and then she bolts. I do think that the fact that he was trying to fix it, something Monroe knows, will be his saving grace when Nick finally figures it out. I am concerned that once Nick fully understands what is going on with Renard (or at least that he is connected to the Wesen world) how they are going to continue with the whole Nick being a cop and working for Renard. Thoughts?

  3. The best thing about this situation is that it seems as though a large dose of honesty and information sharing is on the horizon for Nick and Renard.

how they are going to continue with the whole Nick being a cop and working for Renard. Thoughts?
It will be tense at first (he did try to have his aunt killed) but Renard will figure out a way to explain things to Nick that will put him at ease. Whether or not Renard will be honest is anyone's guess. A lot of how this situation unfolds will depend on what Renard's real intentions are. We still don't know exactly what he's after and what his endgame is.

  4. According to this Sasha Roiz interview, Grimm will not be back until February. :( It also mentions that Renard is revealed not only to the audience, but to the other characters in eps 12/13. Well, probably not his true endgame, but I'm anxious to see how it plays out. Friday is close, but February is a long way away...

  5. Thanks for the link. I'm still holding out hope that NBC will wise up and add a few extra episodes to Grimm's season order. If they don't, we'll either have a lot of repeats this spring or the season will end much earlier than the rest of NBC's shows.

  6. Ya, that was great. Well, Juliet and Monroe end up talking about it as we can see in the picks so thats, maybe, good. I still think things end bad for Renard. Either he's going to die or become scarce or something. Nick chopped off two reapers heads to send a message. Renard having the woman who raised him, like a mom, killed is not going to be forgotten. Maybe I'm wrong but the scale is not being tipped in his favour and his enemies are coming at him.

  7. Well, at least that leaves the possibility that Nick finds out about Renard without Renard realizing it on the table...which would be my favourite twist. I mean it's already so much fun to see Nick finding explanation for his unusual cases, while Renard knows exactly (or at least has a good idea) what is going on, how much more fun would it be, if Nick knows that Renard knows but pretend that he doesn't know? (complicated, I know, but sooooooo much potential).

  8. Technically, Marie wasn't killed at all, she died of cancer...and while we know for sure that the humans Monroe fought were send by Renards, it is entirely possible that the last assassin was send by someone else. After all, Hulda didn't work for Renard either, so there was at least one other party hunting her.

  9. What? Yes she was killed. She was stabbed outside her room. Adalind was the initial hit though and Nick stopped her. She went to Renard after and he asked her if it was done and she said no, he was there (referring to Nick). So, ya, Renard hired to have her killed.

  10. Nope...rewatch the episode. Adalind did the first attack, which was foiled by Nick. After that Renard ordered her to send humans, but that attack was foiled by Monroe. Then there was a third attack, during which Marie killed her attacker...and then died of cancer (not that all the exitement helped) in Nick's arms. There was no stab wound, she got her attacker, not the other way round. It is true that Renard ordered a hit on her, but it was never made clear if the third assassin, who came the closest, was one of his too. And why should he send another one just minutes after Monroe foiled an attempt?

  11. Oh boo hoo hoo. I can't see it and I want to very much. I did assume Juliette would bolt after she sees Monroe. I suppose after the hiatus after Rosalee returns the two of them will get really involved in concocting cures. Glad Rosalee's "aunt" is better (read: Bree's finished with maternity leave).

  12. I like you're idea. I believe it's unlikely but I would very much enjoy it.

  13. point is, Renard tried to have her killed. Doesn't matter how she died

  14. Yeah, but it makes a difference if he just tried or if he is the actual cause of her death.
