OMG I cant believe how much they revealed!!! not...
ReplyDeleteThey're unforgettable because they're stupid. Seriously, they ruined every character on this show with stupid writing.
ReplyDeletetotally agree, used to love it but now I just watch it to know the end
ReplyDeleteYeah it does seem a bit presumptuous to have a retrospective special on a show that, many would admit, has gone downhill in terms of both quality and ratings.
ReplyDeleteThey should of just aired The Carrie Diaries pilot with it. Like a ~special sneak peek like Glee did. There's usually a ratings boost for series finales, so putting it on afterwards might have helped TCD a bit.
ReplyDeleteA retrospective would be nice if I still cared, but I don't. The writers have made me loathe almost ever character. And I care even less about the show.
so ill find out who Gossip Girl is. but i also want is D & S And B & C to end up together
ReplyDeleteSeason 1 of Gossip Girl was so well written and defied the judgments people placed on it. After that, it got dull and I couldn't even finish season 2. Interested to know who GG is though.
ReplyDeleteI honestly think keeping GG's identity is the one thing the writers had managed to do right. They could leave at least that particular detail safe from the total disaster the last couple of seasons have brought upon us.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree! And instead of wrapping things up nicely, they brought back a character which everyone hated to begin with and was completely over (Bart Bass), apparently they thought we needed another useless, so not interesting story. They should've paired up B & C from the beginning of this season and showed how happy things turned out for them, so over the "will they- won't they" with these characters. (I'm not even going to start to talk about D & S)
ReplyDeleteIs anyone really asking who gossip girl? It's not like the characters are curious who gossip girl is. (only watched season 1) That's like lost answering the whispers question when no one really cared except for the audience - and looooooook how that was received..
ReplyDeleteBlake lively is still hot though.....
I love chair, and I'm so devastating about what the writers have done to them. They keep pulling them apart with no reason !
ReplyDeleteAnd Derena = this came out of nowhere, one day she loves steven and the next she sleeps with Dan !
I've never really liked Dan except in season 1, now he's just an ass who is being so despicable
C & B will get together at the end, I'm pretty sure of it.
ReplyDeleteBut when you only have 3 episodes left you don't start a new scheme plot about Dan writing the Serena chapter... Either get them together or keep them apart, but don't start with stupid side stories about a new chapter when you finally got back together... As for Serena, she has never really had her heart broken, never felt deep emotion, just like her mother I guess... So for her to quit dating Steven and hopping into bed with Dan is not really a surprise.
While I really think that the CW is one of the only networks that gives shows a good chance to develop, but in this case they should've cancelled this show years ago, because everyone who is still watching are people (like myself) who have been there since the beginning and want to see who the real GG is and follow it until the bitter end, but are definitely not watching it because the story lines are so amazing..
I haven't watched regularly since Season 4 and have only seen one full episode since then which was the 100th...but I will watch this because Jenny's back! :)
ReplyDeleteReally excited for this!!
ReplyDeleteI know who Gossip Girl is! Is a SHE and last time we saw she went to barcelona, running from is former ex-lover/bbf Daniel Humphrey!
ReplyDeleteUmmm, why are you asking this based off of what you've seen of season 1? You've seen none of the rest of the series and you're just going to assume that none of the characters want to know who Gossip Girl is when you apparently don't even watch the show? That doesn't make sense. And the characters wanting to know who Gossip Girl is was a major plot point in season 5, but you wouldn't know that.
ReplyDeleteHey you are absolutely right. I have only watched season 1 and I had no idea that the characters had the desire to know who gossip girl is. I spoke too soon and should have gave the Gossip Girl the benefit of a doubt.
ReplyDeleteI really hope Nate is GG otherwise why is he on this show? His storylines are lame and he isn't even an important friend anymore.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. Stopped watching midway through season 2 too but I'm very intrigued to see who GG is.
