Oh gosh, I feel death coming on...death of Walter or Olivia in particular
ReplyDeleteLike the title though. A nice little word play on 'other than human' and/or 'kindness'...
Seems like it might link into the overall theme of the season about humanity and the lack of it the Observers have but how it is both an advantage and hindrance of the Fringe team. Also Peter's turn to the darkside, will it take away his humanity? Will he realise he has gone too far and need to be brought back to Olivia and Walter?
ReplyDeleteSounds great. :) I guess this episode is about how the Observers became what they are and why they gave up their humanity. In general I'd like to learn more about them, "their past" and the "original-original" timeline before September's intervention. We'll see what it's about. :)
ReplyDeleteAt least more like the lack of humanity that they have now. In one respect they are still emotional, it's just their emotions lean towards revenge and torment rather than love and compassion. It's still hard to say what caused them to 'change' and if it does specifically have to do with this neural neck neck (impulse?) device, or if it also relies on some other event? -But going back to August and even September, I do think they can love/have compassion and that really Observers still represent extreme versions of ourselves and what can happen to us when we suffer great losses...
ReplyDeleteDo we have to wait December for this? D: My heart.
ReplyDeleteAww man...hope it's not another death...I don't think I could cope.
