WHO WILL WIN IN A BATTLE BETWEEN THE 'B' AND A GROUP OF MEAN GIRLS? -- ON ABC'S "DON'T TRUST THE B---- IN APARTMENT 23"

"Mean Girls..." - June is making a real effort with Chloe to become BFFs, but Chloe is very wary because girls can be catty and manipulative, so instead June befriends a group of girls at her Pilates class who are the epitome of what Chloe detests. Meanwhile, James decides it's time to beef up his public image again and signs up to mentor an at-risk kid, but when they meet, neither of them knows what to do with the other, on "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23," TUESDAY, DECEMBER 11 (9:30-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

"Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23" stars Krysten Ritter as Chloe, Dreama Walker as June, Liza Lapira as Robin, Michael Blaiklock as Eli, Eric AndrŽ as Mark, Ray Ford as Luther and James Van Der Beek as James Van Der Beek.

Guest cast includes Fiona Gubelmann as Stephanie, Gabrielle Jackson as mean girl no. 1, Salemah Gabriel as mean girl no. 2, Eve Gordon as Connie Colburn, Peter Mackenzie as Donald Colburn, Taylar Hollomon as Kim, Jessica Blair Herman as Ashley, Amanda Perez as Carmen, Billy Keane as bartender, Randa Walker as newscaster, Amir Talai as tour guide, and Lavrenti Lopes as clerk.

  1. I've seen this episode with two different titles. Is it Mean Girls or Monday June? Was this an out of order episode? I wasn't sure why June was still working at the coffee shop.

Other than the confusion, I found this episode particularly amusing (the mystery aspect was cool). *Spoilers* I thought the phone call was super funny. Stephanie calls June to tell her a). that her boyfriend proposed and whisked her away (some other girl with the same tattoo was killed? Riiight) and b). that their friendship was over. Her exact words were "Come on, June. You know that girlfriends are just placeholders between boyfriends." LOL. It is just that type of girl that Chloe hates, with good reason, and that the character in my novel, Jan, is trying hard not to be.

"Between Boyfriends" is a hilarious chick lit novel that Hollywood & Vine magazine says "presents a unique twist on the chick lit genre."
