Cheers to maplewhite1912 for the heads up
Neil Gaiman is bringing the Cybermen back to "Doctor Who." The BBC revealed Gaiman will pen an episode airing in the spring of 2013 that will feature Doctor Who (Matt Smith) and his new companion (Jenna-Louise Coleman) coming face-to-face with the Cybermen.
The episode will feature guest stars Warwick Davis, Tamzin Outhwaite and Jason Watkins as "misfits on a mysterious planet."

Yay for Jason Watkins, he stole the limelight in S3 of Being Human imo so I'm really looking forward to seeing him in Who! I'm not so fond of Tamzin Outhwaite, but she was pretty good in New Tricks a few weeks back so I'm not cringing too hard about having an ex-Ender . As for Warwick Davies, nice scoop!
ReplyDeleteThis is really shaping up as an episode that could top Gaiman's first ep :D
I'm looking forward to this! Rise of the Cybermen/Age of Steel were two of my favorite episodes from the reboot so far. Looking forward to this very much.
ReplyDeleteOops. I just submitted this and didn't see the post already here. I should look more carefully next time. Anyway, I've never been a big Cybermen fan but if Gaiman writes this episode as well as "The Doctor's Wife" I'm sure I'll enjoy it.
