It's Christmastime, and Debra learns it may be better to receive when she gets a tip from Hannah's father ... one that could lead to incriminating Dexter in a crime. Meanwhile, Dexter discovers that the man behind his mother's death has been released from prison!

    I'm guessing Isaak will have been taken care of by episode 10 then since he doesn't seem to have any influence here. Curious how everything will come to a head at the end of the season.



    The way I'm guessing is Deb won't want to incriminate Dexter (even though she's mad at him for being with Hannah), but LaGuerta will find the tip/evidence/whatever that Deb gets from Hannah's father and have the final piece to confront Dexter. Damn, why did LaGuerta choose now to finally be a cop?

    I'm thinking all of this will make Deb come a little unhinged by the finale and she'll end up killing someone. I don't know if it'll be LaGuerta or someone else but I do think she'll take someone's life.

    That's an interesting theory. Maybe there'll be a triple confrontation between Dex, Deb and LaGuerta - supposedly after the latter finds out Dex's secret - and Deb will kill her to defend her brother.

    It'd be awesome if Deb does kill LaGuerta (been hoping/guessing that since the before the season started). Like LaGuerta goes to confront Dexter, has a gun on him or something, then Deb shows up and shoots LaGuerta and then after says "Surprise, Motherf***er!" *End season* That would be awesome!

    Since the next season is going to be the last one, I'm actually thinking LaGuerta is going to live (unfortunately) and finally legitimately bust Dexter.

    Might Hannah be trying to frame Dexter for a crime she committed? I think so, because Jennifer Carpenter said that Deb and Hannah will be going after each other, with one eventually destroying the other.
