Oh boy this two final episodes will be very intense for Michael which will force him to make a decision that will betray his family and friends.
ReplyDeletehow is episode 18 called Game Change when episode 17 and 18 are You Can Run part 1 and 2 respectively
I still think that Michael will leave the country on his own and leave everyone else behind.
ReplyDeleteWhat if Michael's Dad is alive!!! i believe all six seasons we never found out what really happened to him and how he died?
ReplyDeleteI am in complete agreement with you here. I think he will leave the country and leave his friends behind when he sees no other way out. His friends get captured and sent to prison which leaves Michael having to deal with the consequences of his decision come Season 7 as JD said that Season 7 will be more of a personal journey for Michael (how could he ever face his friends again). I honestly think it will be the end of him and Fiona and his friendships with Sam and Jesse. They've been loyal to him and for him to do this to them is a huge betrayal and the worst decision Michael could ever make. I always hoped there would be a happy ending for Michael and Fiona, but I don't see it now. Fiona won't forgive Michael for leaving her behind this time. I know I wouldn't if I was her. I am disappointed that this is how the writers are choosing to take the show, but I will continue to watch until the very end.
ReplyDeleteWow, l'm so glad you agreed with me and I loved the way you describe your prediction so thoroughly :)
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I read that interview by JD, I had a bad feeling in my stomach about it, and I knew it had to be something terrible he would do. For Fiona, it'll be more personal if Michael leaves on his own because of what happened in Ireland, (and for Sam and Jesse it could be personal as well after following and helping with Michael's missions/assignments, and when they are held captive and Michael doesn't rescue them, that would make Sam and Jesse furious and betrayed). So yeah, Fiona, Sam and Jesse will probably never forgive him and that's what Season 7 will be about. Michael's relationships with them, and how the four of them can overcome this huge obstacle and forgive (if that's even possible).
Any ideas about what happens with his mom? Do you think Michael will leave her behind as well? That's the only thing I'm not sure about. After Nate's death and the distance between Michael and his mom, he wouldn't abandon her like that. But I suppose when as the season ends, he's only thinking about himself and not getting killed by the enemy. *Shrugs shoulders*
Don't worry, I'm a huge fan of the show and I am a Michael/Fiona shipper. It'll be difficult to watch them on opposite sides next season. But I'll still watch :)
Thanks Christine. The downside of all of this is the fact that so many of us are Michael and Fiona shippers. I always hoped they would marry one day and most of us shippers agree. A lot of us shippers are going to be angry (I'm prepping myself now so it's easier to digest) about their breakup. I am hoping beyond hope maybe just maybe there is a resolve with him and his friends, but things I don't think will be the same. Fiona said in her letter, "I love you Michael, forever." I wonder if he'll take out her letter and realize what a huge mistake he made. He has to live with what he did. (Matt Nix said in an interview once that there is nobody else for Michael or Fiona). I'd rather she go home to Ireland discreetly. Her five brothers and mom would be glad to see her and her brothers I'm sure are very protective (if they got their hands on Michael, he may not survive for hurting their sister twice). Rumors are going around saying Fiona will wind up pregnant. (I don't believe it. Matt Nix said no, unless he had to change up the story line). If Fiona is pregnat (big IF) that would be the only glimmer of hope of bringing Fi and Michael back together.
ReplyDeleteI think Maddie will continue to support Michael though she will not be happy with his decisions. She is his mom and she said "if I don't forgive you, I'll lose you too." I think there will be much healing between him and Maddie. I think she will try and talk to him about what he did, reprimand him for giving up the woman who gave up everything for him and who loved him unconditionally. She will also let him know what a huge mistake he made and that he has to find a way to make it right with them. She may be the glue that holds him together and the only one that can snap him back into reality and make him realize what he did. Because of Michael, all of his friends have been in danger and nearly killed. He really owes them everything.
Loved reading your predictions and theories, especially about Maddie. I definitely agree...that Maddie will be the one to snap Michael back to reality and to encourage him to make amends with Fiona and his friends. We just have to wait and see I suppose.
ReplyDeleteAnson had him killed. He pretty much confessed it to Micheal last season.
ReplyDeleteApparently these episode will be airing as a two-hour finale this year?
ReplyDeleteOh ya i forgot lol damn u summer finale for making me forget lol
ReplyDeleteYou think he would betray his friends and flee lol
What I don't understand about all that is Michael has never been the type to leave his people behind. He has even been willing to sacrifice himself many times before to save his friends. Even a few episodes he was willing to be caught to save Sam. Why would he all of the sudden change and destroy all of these relationships?
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why Michael would turn his back on his friends like this when just a few episodes he was willing to be caught in order to save Sam. He has never been the type to leave his friends behind.
ReplyDeleteIt's just a theory. But there has been an article that was released and JD mentions that Michael makes one of the worst decisions he's ever made in the season finale. My theory is something really unpredictable and I'm leaning towards him leaving the country is something he might do. You don't have to agree, but whatever decision he makes...it won't be a good one.
ReplyDeleteI am not agreeing or disagreeing. More pondering...perhaps I missed some important info along the way. It just seems so unlike him to BE selfish when all these years he has protected those he loves...sure he has done a couple stupid things and killing card is the worst position he has put everyone in, abandoning them seems against everything he is. I would hope if they are really ending the series with season 7 that it WOULD finally end with resolution and everyone happy. I would be really disappointed if everyone went their separate ways.
ReplyDeleteIt's only a theory. It's just something I've recently like doing. Predicting the season finales or important episodes of my favorite TV shows. You don't have to agree. I'm just putting my theories out there (on this comment page). But if Michael does leave the country on his own or not, It's going to be a decision that us the fans won't like.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. I also want a happy ending for our favorite characters and for there to be a resolution.
ReplyDeleteI believe the decision Michael makes will be unexpected, and it'll happen in the last minute of the show. I don't think Michael wants to leave without the others, he'll just feel like there is no other choice. But who knows, maybe my theory is wrong. We'll just have to wait and see I suppose.
The waiting is the worst! I was devastated when Nate was killed and I am sure whatever they leave us hanging on to will be terrible. I am just really hoping however they end the series, it will be a happy ending. I am a sap like that. I am honestly not ready for the show to end period. If he does leave them I hope it is because he has a plan and that will unfold as the episodes come. I am not looking forward to the break. It is always SO long!
ReplyDeletewow, everyone is so Sad that Micheal is leaving the country and breaking up with Fi and leaving everyone behind.....well, if he does, i bet its just to set-up the Series Finale on how the show is gonna end...which im postive it will end Happy...i have my trust in Matt Dix...☺...
ReplyDeleteand plus just for laughs...if Micheal has to leave the country...i Hope he leaves with the black girl cop dead in a body bag so he can get rid of her body, lol....☺....
My only other theory would be that Michael and the gang cannot seem to leave the country as they keep running into obstacles constantly. (This takes me back to season 5 when Fiona said, "We can't win if we don't play" and they played Anson's game. In the finale when they thought they had Anson right where they wanted him and Michael pulls him away from Fiona's sniper bullet, then they think they have him when they find his weapons supply warehouse and that was blown up leaving no evidence to convict or go after Anson, Fiona was fed up, therefore, she gave up). Having said that, maybe it will be Michael's turn to say to heck with it all, I'm tired of running and since i can't win, I may as well give up so he does like Fiona did in last year's finale and turns himself in. The team goes to prison as well as accessories. However, I fear that the CIA would have Fiona turned over to MI-6 or the British since she was with the IRA and not legally in the US and they still want her for the embassy bombing. (I hope I'm wrong where Fiona is concerned).
ReplyDeleteYeah, that makes sense as well. Michael could surrender when he has no other way out when they can't leave the country (like Fiona getting arrested last season) and the others go to prison. Our theories could definitely happen one way or the other. Great thinking Noelle!! :)
ReplyDeleteNo matter what happens, the decision Michael makes it will be something we won't like. And I hope that by the end of the season, that someone shoots that Olivia Riley dead. I hate that bitch.
Me too. Riley is a no good bitch. If Raines would come back or even Pearce. Michael needs someone on his side. I think Riley was one of his followers. How did she get to the building where Card was so quickly after Michael shot him. She was going to meet Card and have Gray arrested. All a setup to make Card look good and probably a nice promotion for Riley and Michael ruined it for her so she's making him pay. I just wish something would come to fruition to get Michael out of this mess once and for all come season 7, but it seems like a downhill battle from here.
ReplyDeleteWaiting until June is painful, but they could delay the premiere since there are only 13 eps. I want a happy ending too for all of them and I wouldn't mind seeing them in the end all exonerated once and for all. I wish there was something happy between Michael and Fiona for once.
ReplyDeleteWow Noelle, your theory about Olivia caught me interest. I reckon the season finale will also be about Michael vs Olivia. The character sounds dirty to me and that makes me suspicious :)
ReplyDeleteWhen you read the episode synopsis for episode 618, Riley sends a dangerous assassin after Michael. That is not how a top agent operates. She doesn't follow rules. She has her own agenda and she isn't going to rest until MW is caught. I hope they do come to blows. How it ends is anyone's guess. If Riley went away, can't say I'd miss her.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I totally agree with everything you said about Riley. The only thing I'm not sure about will be Riley's status by the end of the season finale. Will she still be alive? Dead? Does she beat Michael and the team? Will she lose? To me, that's the million dollar question.
