The world has met Cory Matthews — is it time now to meet his daughter?

The Disney Channel is in the early stages of developing a Boy Meets World sequel series called Girl Meets World, TVLine has learned exclusively

Sources say that the cable network is trying to land original series stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel to revisit their roles of sweethearts Cory and Topanga, who married before their ABC sitcom ended its seven-season run. The new series would center on their preteen daughter.

    Could be good, but they better not mess it up, Boy Meets World was like the best show when I was growing up.

    only if Ben and Danielle do it, do i see this succeeding... but then again it's the Disney channel and most the people that watch this now have no clue who Cory and Topanga are.

    Oh...my...God. A sequel? If they get the original characters (besides Ben and Danielle) it could actually work. I'm quite surprised that I'm quite happy about this, I usually don't like sequels/spin-offs of shows. I grew up with this show and I have the whole series on DVD. I hope Disney does it right and doesn't screw it up!

    I wonder if they will get Mr Feeny back as "Girl's" teacher!? XD
    The show would certainly not be the same without Mr Feeny!


    Seriously though.. What ever happened to Will Freidel?
    After that show I think he retired from physical acting and only does voice work. I have not seen him in anything since BMW I don't think....

    You might be right last i heard his voice was on the reboot of Thundercats and Young Justice.Green Lantern The Animated Series and bunch of other shows lol but never saw him guest star on comedy shows or drama series
