I really think it could be Olivia. She could have gotten pregnant before she was ambered (as we don't know if her and Peter are sleeping together right now). It would allow for a happy ending for the show without needing to reset Etta's death.
ReplyDeleteI think it may be Meredith given the whole "hostile womb" diagnosis from last season (or was it the season before?) it would deffinately be a shock if she discovered she was pregnant.

If olivia was pregnant it would have mentioned that the pregnancy would be revealed in the next two months...it's pure mathematic. Also I dont believe Olivia is pregnant, I mean their daughter is etta and replacing her with another baby would be insensitive. My theory is that they travel back in time after finding out how to defeat the observers so etta and all the others would be spared...
ReplyDeleteThey just want to throw you off so they write "three" months. Anyway, "in the next three months" means anytime from now to in three months, so it's still entirely valid to assume it's Fringe.

ReplyDeleteBefore I saw the choices, my first though was Kate. But IDK, would the show go there, now? It's probably a show I don't watch but I could see it being Kate just because Castle's not as young as it used to be and the show just might wanna do it now and get it out of the way.

(despite the fact that Obviously Observers have been 'here' for a while)
ReplyDeleteObviosuly I still think Peter might go "home" before the series ends, but I have to say I like the idea of them having another kid...Of course if Peter goes home and the amber time line was "Bardo", then I suspect Olivia might be pregnant with Etta in the corporeal...

ReplyDeleteI think Olivia. The twist to go along with it is that a time reset will happen to before Etta was born, but our heroes will remember this timeline, and corresponding future. To the ones saying that it won't be Fringe because the blind item say "in the next three months" , that phrase basically means within the next three months, not three months from now.

ReplyDeleteI think it would be great! I think that if it does happen it would be her pregnant with Etta at the end after the season 4 finale. They will defeat the observers/get peter back/and time travel back to the past after the season 4 finale where either: 1. Liv is pregnant with Etta (happy ending yay!) or 2. Reset back to the day in the park, observers don't come and the family including Etta is back togeter (RIP Dear 2036 Etta) -- Giving us and the family a happy ending yay!
I don't see how its really possible in 2036 right now. If its not etta and its a new kid in 2036 there are some problems: Polivia really both don't have time for you know, since peter is hell bent on revenge and they are on the outs. Unless she is pregnant already, and was when she was ambered. In which sense Id be a little worried how is that baby gonna do being in utero for 20 some years (then again Liv did die, fall from a helocopter and get majorly dosed with a dangerous drug-cortexiphan when she was pregnant with Etta and she turned out fine. SO who knows.

ReplyDeleteYeah,its Olivia but we have been saying Peter does a reset,so it's not 2036,they go back to 2015,like the way it ended in 4.19 Letters Of Transit. I keep going back to Joel saying he wants us ( the fans ) to be able to think of them going on,living their lives. I hope!
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit confused what your saying maybe you have the episode wrong? The end of Letters of Transit was Etta hugging Peter calling him Dad. There wasn't a reset. What episoded do you mean?
ReplyDeleteOlivia and team will somehow reset back to when she learned she was preggers. The twist will be that Olivia and Peter will have retained the memories of this terrible timeline, and its crazy future, but will be on course for "a new day in an old town".
ReplyDeleteI really don't think it's Olivia. 1) I doubt with the final episodes they'd waste the time on that storyline again. And 2) I just would not be interested in that at all at this point in Fringe.

2. Peter "new condition"
3. "finds out she's with the child, she'll be shocked", 5x06 Fringe and 1x15 are VERY meaningful ! That would be a great twist IMO ! And I already love that. I won't spoil anything about the child.
4. Olivia is a lead on an etablished series
Yeah, I'm sure fans would love it which falls in line with one of Ausiello's clues.

Though I heard in Secret Santa the topic of kids comes up again because Ryan and Jenny are trying. Which is another thing: I doubt they'd have two pregnant characters at once.
