It looks like The Killing will be coming back for a third season after all. Two and a half months after AMC opted not to renew the mystery drama for a third season, I hear the cable network is close to a deal to bring the show back, this time in tandem with streaming giant Netflix. I hear AMC would get first window.

Hmm, I may check it out just to see how they're gonna keep going with a show that concluded it's storyline already. I don't believe watching season 2 is necessary to follow the story.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, happy for all you Killing fans ;)
Not going thru that again! Good night, wrap it up,put it to bed! I've had it!I'm done!
ReplyDeleteYeah
ReplyDeleteI for one am happy about this!
ReplyDeleteI really hope this is true. This is a very different type of show, from everything else I watch, but I find myself really enjoying it. I wouldn't make a habit to just watch these shows, but watching the killing really was a pleasure for me. But I admit it's not for everyone's tastes, it's a very niche kind of show I think. I do hope this comes true. And the acting in this show is phenomenal
ReplyDeleteInteresting choice for Netflix.
ReplyDeleteI can see how The Killing would be a good fit with a cheaper production cost, but I'm surprised actually. Season 2 was a struggle to get through for me after a very good Season 1 - not counting the fiasco of a finale. I will not be watching anymore of The Killing from Veena Sud again. Period.
I will continue to watch any new episodes of the original Forbrydelsen and I'm quite excited for Season 3 to air!!!!
Plus wasn't Enos cast in a TV series? Maybe it was a movie and I'm confused.....
I wasn't super bummed when it was cancelled. Not sure I'll be tuning in this time around...
ReplyDeleteIs there really going to be a third season of Forbrydelsen?
ReplyDeleteI think so, according to Wiki it has already started airing Denmark and Norway. It will be the final season.

The Rosie Larson case was never supposed to be the whole series' storyline.
ReplyDeleteCool, I thought it was over because it's been so long since the second season.
ReplyDeleteI erally hope this happens. I got really hooked on this show and would love to see another season.
ReplyDeleteThe season 2 finale acted as a pretty good series finale. I would love to see the series back, but the story has to be good enough and they should stop screwing around with the audience about what to expect.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be a good idea to move away from the Larson case altogether. I think the only main characters that return should be Linden, Holder and Richmond. They should have a new case, and hopefully not a 2 season story - they should wrap it up in one season which they probably will since the renewal is for season 3 and not a multiple season pickup.
ReplyDeleteI actually hope that Richmond isn't on it.
