The group is severed, placing lives in jeopardy; Merle has a request for the Governor.

Episode 3.05 - Say the Word
Rick struggles after another loss; Michonne is suspicious of the Governor.

    From last week's promo, I'm gonna assume Merle requests that Michonne be sent to fight in the zombie arena (those who read the comic you know what I'm talking about)

    Probably. my theory is he wants Daryl spared and welcomed in. I'm assuming from previews that Rick and company are not welcomed as guests but prisoners, and lets face it, Merle misses his lapdog, and probably asks that Daryl be hired as a guard or something rather than killed or tortured.


    assuming i'm right(i haven't read the comics so i may be wrong about how Rick and them are treated or welcomed in), i imagine Daryl will go along to get along until Merle crosses the line( beats a child, tries to rape one of his group, you know Merle stuff..lol) then Daryl will realize he's better off with the group and thus start kicking some redneck @$$....


    BTW yes i realize i put WAY too much thought into this....lol

    I'm not to sure about Merle requesting anything that has something to do with Daryl. I don't think we get the Dixon reunion until the 6th-7th episode.

    u gotta remember that the Daryl and Merle storyline is NOT in the comics so the writers can go anywhere they want to with this...☺...

    assuming your right the only other thing i can think of is Andrea. In the preview when you see Merle saying "How about a hug for your ol' pal Merle," he is clearly being sarcastic. he's also in the woods and it appears the person he's talking to is on the ground. Andrea is sick and we last saw her and Michonne entering the woods. And, i may be wrong, but didn't Merle hit on Andrea in season 1? if so he just doesn't seem the type to let rejection go...

    They're going where they want with storylines in the comics, too. So nothing is set in stone. I'm beginning to question RICK'S safety on the series anymore.
