    Ha ha ha ha...Elena takes care of Jeremy??When did that happen??Jeremy is the one who has a job ,he is the one who thinks straight (Let's pack up our bags and go! -3x10) and he's the one protecting Elena (he killed a hybrid).And Elena is independent??Her main concern was which Salvatore to choose all season with a few hints that she may start taking care of herself when she started working out with Alaric.

    This was really funny!Elena takes care of Jeremy??Jeremy is the one who has a job,Jeremy is the one who thinks straight ('let's pack our bags and go') and Jeremy is the one who 's killed a hybrid!Elena is taking care of everyone??All Elena did this season was just stand there and watch when Esther tried to kill Matt,Jeremy and Elijah,when Esther killed Alaric and when Kol was beating Damon up!Apart from saving Car,her training was for nothing! Elena is independent??How?She spent most of season 3,trying to choose between Salvatores!

    So true. Elena also did a lot of whining last season. But to be fair, she did save Damon from Vamp Alaric by dying :p

    Generally, it seems they all take turns being most annoying. Jeremy, Tyler, Bonnie, and Rebekah have all taken a turn. For the second half of season three, it was Elena's turn.
