Encouraging news for freshman ABC comedy The Neighbors. While ABC is yet to pull the trigger on any back orders for freshman series, the network has given a three-script order to new comedy The Neighbors.
It means they have ordered 3 more scripts past the 13-episode season ordered in May. They'll decide whether or not to order more episodes once they read the scripts.
Not really. It means ABC's interested in extending the season but want to know where it's going before making a commitment. So they are ordering scripts and if they like them they'll order more episodes. So it is still 13 episodes, but it shows ABC is considering ordering more.
I know most people don't like the show, but i'm happy and hopefully we'll get more episodes. I mean, It is an unpretentious show, with many references and light humor. There are worse things in the air, believe me.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
What does 'three script order' mean?
ReplyDeleteTerrifying.

Now I get it :) thanks
ReplyDeleteCompared to last season for ABC with Revenge, Once Upon a Time, Last Man Standing etc, this season's a bust!

Kind of surprising, think the show is awful.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I like it so far. The family-friendly, oddball humor is nice.
