The LA Complex- Picked up by MTV for 170 countries

MTV International has picked up the first two seasons of Canadian drama series The LA Complex in a deal with independent distributor Echo Bridge.
The first (6x60′) and second (13x60′) seasons will air on MTV’s international channels in more than 170 territories, including Scandinavia, Latin America, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Africa, Poland and Italy.
The teen soap series, produced by Epitome Pictures, originally aired on CTV in Canada and premiered on The CW in the US in April. It has also performed well on VoD platform Hulu.

    Hopefully this will help CTV / Muchmusic make a decision about a third season...

    would that mean that if the show were picked up for a 3rd season it would air on MTV in the US and not CW?

    Even though I don't watch this series, I'd much rather real shows like this air on MTV rather than stuff like Jersey Shore......

    I think they are already going that way; their scripted shows like Teen Wolf and Awkward have good reception.

    Good to hear a Canadian young adult drama is making it somewhere other than on Much Music and CTV! I was glad when CW picked it up. Though I don't watch this show, I might start after Gossip Girl ends.

    The LA Complex will premiere in France on the channel, "June", this November.
